They asked me to wait until someone to come and g8ves me a sitting place. After 4 minutes of walking around me with full ignore,... I just left. Horrible place!!!! 2nd visit Oct 19 2020:. Got Sheri. Just as good as Jeanette, but she picked on me more...which is a good thing! :-) 1st visit,... Oct.18 2020: Jeanette and a clean restaurant. Jeanette and fast service. Jeanette and good food! My waitress, yes, it wasJeanette, stood out in this visit. I frequently stop at Denny's everywhere in the country. The quality and value at these stopsvary widely. This store; definitely in that upper third. The things you want... food that comes out hot, restaurant that is keptswept with no sticky tables, and a staff that is courteous are found here in Ripon. Jeanette is responsible for a lot of that inthis review...because I appreciate those who help road warriors feel like a regular when we drop in for perhaps even our firstvisit ever ( which it was for me). Stuff like that goes a long way in starting the day out right. I had the chorizo skillet. Gotpancakes instead of toast, and was made to feel welcomed in just sitting back and relaxing after the meal. Best food!!! From order on phone until I picked up the food the experience was exceptional!!!
My family and I often eat at Denny's as they do kids eat free. Tonight our waiter charged us for the kids and said it was a... recent change per the manager Shawn. The other waitress was going to fix it for us as we were not aware of the new rule thatkids eat free only on Tuesdays and Saturdays now. The original waiter was adamant that we pay. We have not had a problem untilnow and will not be dining there as frequently. The place was also dead and now they've lost more business. Went for father's day with the in-laws. Had a very nice time. Our waitress Carmen was super nice, and very attentive, we were... never wanting for drink refills. She answered all our questions and realized we were both allergic to pineapples, which was aninteresting coincidence. She was waiting a lot of other tables and still found time to attend to us with a wonderful attitude,and the focus to remember our needs. We had a great time, the food was very good and better plated then a lot of Dennis. Myfather-in-law ordered the salmon and was pleased with its quality. Carmen then told us about the new was of cooking andsuggested we try the steak. I got a breakfast this time but almost ordered the steak but I was a bit nervous about the way itsbe cooked (I've ordered steak at other Dennies and its often a little...odd) but she convinced me :)) I'll be ordering steaknext time. I was pleasantly surprised. This is a really good Denny's. Not what I expected from a 24 hour diner at all. I would recommend... it, especially if you have ever been disappointed by a Denny's. This one will change your mind. Overnight is hard, made harderby minimal staffing during the graveyard shift. Both the waiter and cook were handling it quite well though. I had to wait fora while before I was allowed to place my order. The cook didn't want to rush things and send out bad food. That is fine. I camein to sit down and rest anyway. Read a book for a few minutes, got some coffee, and let them catch up. I am happy to wait whenthe food is worth it. It is definitely worth it here, at least during the overnight shift. This cook means BUSINESS. Crepeswere light, fluffy, and ever so slightly crispy at the edges. Strawberries on top worked out very well. Eggs great. Barelycrisped on the outside to seal in the juiciness inside. Hash browns crispy, delicious, and the perfect texture where they don'tfall apart until you want a bite. Bacon was at that great halfway point where it is crispy and cooked but not brittle, like achip. They even got some water for my service dog and had nothing but nice things to say about her. I read my book, finishedmy coffee, and hung around until the "Fat and Happy" feeling had faded enough to walk again. Try it out. You will be pleasantlysurprised too. Read more
Tried to order online on their website, but it's not a full menu. I call to place an order for pick up, but they don't take... phone orders after 10pm. The item I wanted to order is on the full menu, but can't order online from it. What happens at 10pmthat makes phone in orders impossible? But the girl who answered the phone said I could come in and order it to go, it will onlytake a little bit.
