Ordered a veg biriyani. Food was not at restaurant standards, too much oil, basmati rice half cooked, too much turmeric powered... and not enough spicy. Did not smell like biriyani, just some vegetable turmeric rice. Also they don’t come with Salaan orraita, until you ask them. Need to improve. Price was decent to this area. Affordable, but need serious uplift of quality andtaste. Next time will try a direct food here, but not biriyani for sure. Read more
I had the extra spicy goat curry, cheese naan, and extra spicy goat biryani along with two haywards 5000. The goat biryani is... super flavorful with a lot of fragrance and flavorful seasonings. The food is very delicious. The goat meat was tender and notoverly chewy in both my curry and biryani. Happy Indian Kitchen is by far my favorite go to, favorite Indian restaurant in theStanislaus County area. I highly recommend this restaurant. If you want delicious Indian food in the area, this is therestaurant to go. I am willing to drive a little ways to get delicious Indian food. I’m Indian, have eaten chicken tandoori tikka all my life from many places and have never had a tandoori tikka this bad. I’d... rate it 1.5/5. Also, had the chicken biryani which looked and tasted more like fried rice. And the chicken had a raw smell,would rate that 1/5. Just wow! First off, best welcoming greet ever. Seems like a family owned location and very very friendly upon my arrival. The... Chai tea I am drinking tastes amazing (notes of spice and smooth milk) and the dessert I am trying looks like a milk dessertand compliments the tea just perfectly. I cannot wait to try my lunch. Ordered butter chicken tandoori chicken fried rice and garlic Naan bread was very delicious. Ordering online was very easy.
The food is really good. Great customer service. My only complaint is, the beer needs to be colder, the beer glasses needs to... be put in the freezer to chill. Cold beer in a cold glass makes a world of difference. Read more
Plenty of food options including a nice selection of vegetarian options to choose from. The staff was very friendly and... accommodating for our party of ten people on a busy Friday night. The gentleman severing us put multiple tables together for usto sit together. Food service was prompt and accurate. For someone like myself that is not particularly fond of hot and spicyfood, it was just the right mix of not being to spicy (but the option was there if you wanted it).
