Looks a little sketch on the outside but we saw the menu online and it looked very promising. Delicious! Had hand-battered... chicken tenders and mashed potatoes. Real ones! Not instant! Great place! All waitresses were friendly and helpful. Hand pattied burgers, and the chef salad was well proportioned and... huge. Trying the amaretto cake is a must if they have it! Well worth the visit. Read more

We found this restaurant on a morning drive across Lookout Mountain. The food was awesome. The staff was very friendly and... attentive. The place is extremely clean and pleasant. We really enjoyed our meal and plan to return again soon. Read more

Came here for lunch after camping and hiking at Cloudland Canyon. The atmosphere was very pleasant and homey, servers were... friendly and attentive and food was a real Southern treat. Dog friendly as well; you can dine at the outdoor patio with yourdogs. Will return! Read more
Cafe 136 was one of the many places I visited on my way home. This place was very quaint and quiet, although in the kitchen... Nickleback was playing. I quite enjoyed the Fried Chicken Salad while my friend got Chicken Strips. In addition I had theChicken and Dressing with the Amaretto Pie. It was fabulous.
