The staff that was working when I was there were wonderful. I didn?t catch the name of the young woman, but she was friendly and... gracious. She was working with Jeff, who was very personable and really seemed to enjoy helping customers. He was great withsome kids who came in with their mother. I?m just passing through town and those two made me glad that I chose to eat there. Read more
Rude customer service. Asked for shrimp tacos. The employee said it takes 5 minutes. I said that's fine. Then he huffed as he... stormed off to cook the shrimp. He kept sighing as I asked for the various toppings. To the point where I wondered if hisblood sugar was low. He seemed angry and flustered. As I waited for the shrimp the other lady took care of the customers behindme. Once the shrimp were done, the other lady continued to help others before finishing my tacos. 4 people got to cut ahead andget help before they finished my tacos... once the shrimp was done I think they should have finished up my order. Thankfully the kiosk ordering system was down when we were there because the employees were the best part! I?ve eaten here a... number of times over the years, and even with Covid politics killing staffing across the country it was the best experience yet.The people here were simply awesome. They helped me get my family?s orders in quickly, helped guide us on what to order and whattoppings we should get. They were hard working, obviously happy, super kind and treated every customer like they mattered.Either the owners treat their people amazingly well, or the people they?re hiring are awesome regardless. Ordering Kiosk system slows down orders instead of speeding the up. The system is not an improvement but a downgrade. Staff... won?t even talk to you to take your order. We were ordering multiple items as a quick stop for a family road-trip which we havebeen doing for years. Have never had problem with Taco Del Mar until this point. Haven't been to a Taco Del Mar in quite a while and the stop at this one in Ritzville was definitely worth it. The person... making the burritos was terrific, with great knowledge of the food he was preparing and the options that go with it. Theburritos were great, with all kinds of toppings available for them. Definitely a place that we'll return to when we're in theRitzville area. Read more
