Chesapeake crab perfection! Met all my expectations for a crab day on the water. We were sat pretty quickly, the service was... warm and friendly. Hard to beat the expansive view of the water! So relaxed and peaceful and delicious! It was such a coolexperience. Was my first time smashing crab and it was fun! The crab dip was creamy and delicious, clam strips were reallyjuicy. Butter and tartar sauce was great. Definitely recommend saving your crab dip to dip your fresh crab in! Pro tip: smotheryour hands in lemon after to avoid the crab smell lingering on your skin. Great location. This place is popular. We arrived just a few minutes after opening on Sunday noon, and it is almost full. Wait... time was 10 minutes, not bad at all. We took a short walk on the docks. Food is fresh. The salad is as fresh as it can get. Bluecrabs are seasoned and steamed just right. Service is friendly. Mike's has great tasting fresh seafood, well seasoned and good flavored crabs! The appetizer- crab dip was delicious, the drinks... (rum punch) were just right, I had the seafood imperial and it had great flavor and even reheated well from leftovers. The peeland eat steamed spice shrimp was fresh with good portions and the service was great! Great ambiance on the water and friendlystaff. I would definitely visit again and would recommend! Mike's Crab House is a must if you are in Annapolis! Before I rave about the food and the location, please note that they do not... take reservations, seating is on a first come, first serve basis. However, you will not be bored while waiting on your tablebecause of the views, the outdoor bar for drinks and lovely breeze. The views are beautiful and there is seating around thedocks to take it all in. This was my 3 or 4th visit at Mike's and it never disappoints. The Rum Punch is what I sip on everytime I visit. When it comes to the food, I strongly recommend: the mussels, COCONUT SHRIMP, crab dip (ask for extra baguette,you'll need it), BBQ wings and the seafood imperial. In my opinion, a spread of appetizers is perfect with crabs! Trust me,you'll be highly satisfied. One thing you are guaranteed here is eating while enjoying beautiful water views. Read more

One of the few places you can get crabs on a deck, on the water, near Annapolis. Mike?s is well known locally for their... atmosphere, crabs, and menu. If you?re looking for competitively priced crabs that are FULL, look no further. We got a dozenlarges and not one was light. The deck has plenty of tables, as well as a coveted area with fans to keep air flowing. Great beerand drink selection to help wash down the Old Bay. Wonderful location by the water. Plenty of parking though get there early for the best experience. We ordered the Patron... margaritas (ask for Nick at the bar he makes the best drinks), crab dip, buffalo shrimp, hush puppies, seafood platter, crabstuffed cod, large crabs. Every time I?ve eaten here it?s been excellent and this visit was no exception. They just execute all the basics extremely well!... My crab cake sandwich was a great example: solid pack fresh crab with plenty of large chunks, seasoned well and flash fried.Perfect. Nice slice of a ripe tomato, fresh lettuce on a toasted bun. Side of fresh fries and cocktail and tartar sauces. Simplebut right.
