The smoke in the parking lot pulled me in. It was happy hour. I enjoyed smoked wings, rib tips, macaroni & cheese and potato... salad. We had the smoked wings, salmon,collard greens, Mac and cheese, potato salad, and broccoli. The wings and salmon were very good.... I love the fact the green didn't have meat and they were still good. Great place to go and grab food when you are not trying toget all dressed up. The food was served in Styrofoam but I didn't mind because I was talking it to go. They had a dj and a pooltable. This place is for an older crowd and kinda hole in the wall spot. Came across this place a few months ago and it has become a regular spot for us! Not only is it locally owned but absolutely... caters to the community; Happy Hour Tuesday prices are great as well as the food! Always served fresh and hot! The DJ keeps ussliding and karaoking and just entertained all the way to closing. Love to see Black Businesses Thriving! Read more
Sunday vibe was great! Only downfall is that the bar and tables are reserved. So if you want to pop in for drinks and food... beware. You might not get a table or a bar seat. Upside the jazz band was AWESOME! Read more

The rib tips tasted like they were boiled in hot water. Also, it didn't look like a 1/2 pound of ribs. Corn was dry and mac... tasted like it was out the box. The Texas Toast was good, though. And the banana pudding was ok. There were only 2 customers inthe resturant. Both already had their meals. We were told our orders would be up in 20 mins. It ended up taking over 45 mins forour to-go orders. We tried calling in our orders ahead of time but they don't answer the phone. Good customer service but thefood is a no for us. I had my typing finger READY to complain because there were a few valid concerns that I had as a customer, then the bartender... went above and beyond to remedy my issue and I tasted the smoked chicken wings and now there's delicious chicken flavor on myfingers and I can't remember what I was irritated about...
