My mom and I meet here when I come to town and normally it is a very pleasant experience except for this time. It started with... the Hostess who seemed to be annoyed that we took her away from her phone. The place was fairly empty maybe 10 people in theentire place. She followed us over to a high top, tossed the menus on the table and walked away. She ended up talking to thebar tender and looked over at us in a strange way. A few minutes later the bar tender came over and with a tone of "how dareyou bother me" asked us for our drinks and just turned away and went back to retrieve them. I mean not a word just turned andwas gone. She then asked if we were going to order food, we said yes she grabbed some menus and handed them to us. No mentionof specials, no mention of maybe an appetizer just handed us the menu and walked away. She finally came back and asked us whatwe wanted as we ordered she never wrote anything down. When the food arrived my mom's meal was totally wrong. She asked for aempty plate so she can discard what she asked them not to put on her burger and again the plate was placed on the table and shestormed away. Now with that the food was good 3-4 out of 5 stars but I am a true believer the food can be 5 all day long but ifthe service is not well maybe we will look for somewhere else to be. Go for the food not the staff but there are plenty ofoptions out there where you can get both good food and great service. Read more

OMG. We have been doing team meals for 10 years and this was the First time our group was handled correctly. Great... servers.Clearly fabulious management. Food was good too. We had a variety of lunch items - salads, risotto, quesedillas, wings, and burgers. All were good and fresh. Beers were cold. Bloody mary was good with generous amount of horseradish. Bathrooms andrestaurant was super clean. Read more

Out running some errands and decided to stop in for the first time to have a late lunch. We ordered a water with lemon and a... Pepsi for drinks and put in an app order for the dumplings. Drinks came out...no lemon with the water and after a couple ofminutes, I figured he wasn't coming back with straws. So I grabbed a couple from a cart by the outside door. The app was broughtout and again after a few minutes, we figured he wasn't coming back with an utensils or napkins....so I grabbed some again fromthe cart. The app was very good!!! Would definitely recommend. Our meals came out and she ordered the steak sandwich (slicedsteak, onions, mushrooms). There was no "sliced" to this meat as you can see from the pic, chucks of steak instead that leftquite a few bare areas of bread. The fries were good that came with it. I ordered the steak quesadilla that came with SpanishRice. While I realize that this is NOT a Mexican food place, I was still expecting the rice to have some sort of flavor. Thesteak in the quesadilla didn't really seem to be seasoned either....typically you can taste something that resembles cumin, chili powder, coriander, paprika. I am willing to come back and try something else before giving up, so we will see how the nextvisit is. Read more

Came here to meet some friends (it was half way for each of us) and had a very nice lunch. The 'Alehouse' is quite large with a... very big bar area and a spacious dining area as well. Our service was excellent (thanks Zack) and our food was very good too! Ihad the fish tacos and our table enjoyed the ahi tuna salad, lobster mac and cheese and the pot pie sandwich. Beer selectionwas good and I enjoyed a few cold Cape May whites. Recommend for sure. Read more

I stopped here on the way to visiting my parents for the weekend in Pennsylvania. Nice section of beers. They had the wrench ipa... I like. They also had a pretty good French onion soup. The Cuban quesadillas were weird tasting but I guess exactly what Iexpected (with pickles and corned beef in a tortilla). The Cobb salad was decent too. What else can you say about a Cobb salad?Lots of TVs too. Read more

If you're looking for a great place to catch a game and enjoy some delicious food, Blu Alehouse is the place for you. The... appetizers were served quickly and fresh. We had the Cuban quesadillas and the onion soup, both of which were excellent. Thesteak frites were great, and the pulled pork was even better. However, I found the sweet mashed potatoes that came with thepulled pork sandwich to be a bit too sweet for my taste. The atmosphere was perfect for watching sports, and the service waspolite and attentive. Overall, Blu Alehouse is a great spot for a casual night out. I am looking forward to returning and tryingnew items from their menu! Read more

We loved the outdoor seating. Food is really good with an exception of artichoke dip which tasted more like melted cheddar soup... “French onion” soup style. The service was ok but the staff was putting an effort so I think it will only improve with time.Overall I would recommend this place if you live in the area and I will be certainly going back. Honestly really solid food! This area is almost exclusively fast food chain type food so blu alehouse is all the more special... here. Really broad menu and we enjoyed everything. We got the tuna tartar, lobster Mac and cheese, blu burger, and the spinachand artichoke dip. All delicious and the service is very friendly too. Read more
