While growing up in riverside delete us was the place to go they made their own bread sandwiches were always big and perfect.... I was really disappointed in my recent visit. I've never loved D'Elia's, but My Hero was close, and I didn't want to drive all... the way to Butch's, so I stopped here, and I don't know if I'll ever go back, at least not to this location. The wait for 2turkey sandwiches was like 20+ minutes, and the sandwiches were poorly made and overpriced. The interior was dirty and smelledlike pee, and the tables were all sticky. Our second and last time we visit this place!! Very bad experience and very expensive !! Spent $58 for four people. First thing... that went wrong.. their Dr Pepper was flat. When I told the cashier she said she?ll let the manager know. 3 minutes later shecomes back and said it?s like that because it?s the end of the ?soda?.. Then I sent my daughter to get some yellow chilipeppers. I asked her to buy 3.. so I figured she?ll have enough with $1.. comes back saying it will be $2.45!!! I figured wellmaybe it?s a big container.. but nope? it was only 5 chili peppers in a little container for .85!!!!! Wow ????!!!!! I ordered ameatball sandwich (they don?t have Parmesan cheese) that was super super greasy that it made the bread really soggy? bread wasalready soggy when I got it. I have been coming to Delia's since 1978 and have Loved everything we've been there, I have not been there in about a year .... Was able to go today and called ahead so we could pick them up. They said it would be 25 minutes, witch was fine, but when wegot there, what a shock all, but one worker didn't act like they even wanted to be there, much less know what they were doingand had to wait another 15 minutes after I had paid for them!! Had to go to the counter and ask what happened to my order, thekid that waited on me went to the back to check on them, in his on sweet time and came back to tell me he just had to bag them,witch turned into another 10 min. I wish the original owners were still around, but I know they have done their time and wishthem well..... The best grinders in the world, but the service sucked. Read more

Food was good but inside was dirty! It looked like they had not cleaned since the morning. Tables dirty. Straw trash by the cup... lids. Dirty napkin crumbled up shoved in the medium size lid area. Salt pepper packets all over the floor by them. Food on thefloor. Had to pull out my own lysol wipes and clean my Own table. I was able to get a few pics. But it was ridiculous. We have been going to D'Elia's for over 20 years now, and over the last couple of years their prices went up, and the quality... has gone down. I am so upset with my most recent order. This is the quality now?!?! For the prices they charge, they need to dobetter! This was the last straw for us, we will not return to D'Elia's again. One of the employees recommended the phili steak and it was delicious. The bread was super soft and had plenty of flavor. The... fries were perfectly cooked. Not too fried and not under cooked. Definitely a must. Read more
