The food was excellent and I would go back to eat. Everyone in my large family enjoyed the meal. However, the cashier was not... friendly to me nor others in my family. Customer service is what makes and breaks a business. Most of all, I strongly dislikethat I had to pay $1 for parking when it says it is free. This business should honor the parking lot "free 90 mins" parking. Idon't understand why I see free when I enter the parking lot, and I see free on my ticket. Stop taking $1 from customers. Read more
I went here on the weekend Saturday January 22nd. The food was really good I was happy with most of everything I got. The greens... were my favorite, they were so delicious. ???? I can get easily addicted to the greens alone. The pork ribs is another thingthat I ordered and highly recommend. The meat fell off the bone and was cooked well done like I like. The Mac and Cheese wasalso good though I am not a big fan of Mac and cheese and think the green juice saturated them well to alter the taste a bit. Soif you order to go you definitely want to try your best to hold the bag from the bottom. I also got the shrimp which had a nicelemon taste to them. Though the shrimp and chicken was my least favorite because of the gritty breading on the outside itreminds me of corn starch. The cornbread was also good but not a favorite. The sweet potato pie was excellent I think it had anice balance with the seasonings and the sweet potatoes seemed like they were blended properly making for a great texture, whichis a hard thing to do and find lets be honest. I definitely will come back for more. The cheesecake was also good andinteresting because it was a Reese's Pieces Cheesecake. I ate that quickly so it is not pictured. Read more
We ordered the pork ribs dinner and the chicken wing dinner and the meat on both was really good. The rib meat was nice and... tender and very big, my fiance said the skin on the wings could have been more crunchy for him. Overall a 3 star mainly becausethe sides were not what we expected, the main reason we eat bbq is for the sides and we both agree the meat is the better optionhere. Read more
Man oh man. Back in 2013-14. Grams BBQ jammed. Located in Riverside CA. Saturday we went there. Family from Texas wanted to try... it. After I spoke highly recommend. We smelled the aroma. We were happy. There were two young ladies taking orders. They trulydon't like their job there. They were not friendly or courteous. They did not handle our order right. We had to keep going backin for items they did not include. We chose to dine outside on the patio. Grams BBQ. They serve your food in a to go bag. It'sthere way of doing it. No matter if you eat there or not. Ok ready to eat. Discover. Burnt BBQ chicken turned upside downdrenched in sauce. We order ribs. But what we got was dried out rib tips. So dry. You could separate the top of the ribs. A verydry layer. The Cornbread crumbled in my hand, it went back to powder. Peach cobbler wasn't done by now means. Potato salad hadno relish. Fried Osters not done. Hot links, tasted like bologna. The items that were good. Was the coleslaw, collards, and thebaked beans. All costs $60.00. They said they saw Us eating. My 4 ???? rating is based solely on the Friday Fish Fry Special. We ordered two Hook-Up specials for 13.99 ea, before we... realized that we could have ordered the Big-Daddy special for 19.99 and got the same amount of food ???? Anyway..... Our combosincluded fried shrimp and catfish, with fried okra, greens and cornbread on the side. The portion was filling and we enjoyed it,but for some reason, the greens were just a bit bitter today, but not bad. I also ordered a Rib Tip plate to go. The side ofCandied Yams that came with it were good, but this was my first time and I was disappointed in the taste of the seasoning on therib tips. I was told by a regular that I should have gotten the Pulled Pork or Brisket sandwich. That they are really good! Yum,I will next time ???? Bonus points because they gave my daughter a slice of pound cake when they heard it was her birthday. Thatwas very thoughtful and appreciated. Over all, the service was great, the restaurant was clean, we enjoyed our lunch and wereally enjoyed the vibe of the music playing. The meat is so good! The ribs deserve 5 stars. I don't really care for the coleslaw. The first bite wasn't good. It gets better... as you keep eating it. The greens aren't the best but not bad. The greens need more flavor to add to the turkey flavor.Seasoning. But they're edible. The beans are pretty good. The potato salad can use some chopped onions and celery but edible. Loved this spot! Visitor to Riverside and treated to a fantastic meal. Missed an opportunity to dine there again since they are... closed Monday and Tuesdays. Bummer. Clean friendly service, good food. Will return. Read more
