Going to a new place is almost riding a roller coster. You're excited but at the same time nervous not knowing what to... expect. Seeing many Jimmy John's locations popping up I decided to give it a try. First time going to Jimmy John's and seeingthe layout of the sandwhich place is welcoming. It has a nice tranquil environment for someone who's on lunch. Going in you seethat there are several people making sandwiches, so you know it'll be fast. I got the beach club without mayo or cucumbers. Iwas AMAZED that my sandwhich was given to me even before the receipt had been printed from the cashier. Excited to trysomething new, I open the sandwich up, out of the paper and the sandwich looked nothing out of the ordinary. Something like Iwould have made at home if I was in a hurry. The bread itself was bland- no flavor there. The sandwich itself tasted as if I waseating only lettuce. There were maybe 3 slices of cheese, 3 thin slices turkey, little sliced tomatoes on the bottom of thesandwhich and a huge handful of lettuce in the middle with a dash of guacamole/avacado spread. Seems like as you're orderingsomeone is overhearing your order and making it on the spot, which is pretty cool. But what I look for when I try a new place isflavor, presentation and bang for your buck. Sandwich overall NOT a satisfying sandwich. Flavor was not present, albeit I didorder without mayo (Mayo shouldn't be the only flavor in a sandwich). As far as was it worth it for what I paid, unfortunatelynot.
