UPDATE-Came with hubby and had a great time and meal! It was my first time here, came with a friend who had been here a couple... times before. I was thoroughly impressed. The exterior is artsy and beautiful. The inside has a fun vibe with great music and isdecorated very colorfully. The food is amazing and the staff is so accommodating and attentive. This was our first visit to Kalaveras Cantina Urbana. The place was really busy. In spite of the large amount of customers, the... servers were quick and responsive. The drinks almost immediately after we ordered them. Same thing with the food. We had thechicken enchiladas with green sauce and they were delicious. I was excited once I saw this new restaurant being under construction. I couldn't wait until it opened. I finally got to visit... today during lunch hour and it was busy! The atmosphere was great. Music playing drinks on point and delicious. No wait for 2. Iordered 3 drinks, 1 draft beer , molcahete and Birria. Total was $122 . I was a great experience. Would definitely be back. Definitely a fun and wonderful atmosphere! Decor was Latin flare calavera inspired, TVs throughout with latin music videos... playing. They give you a basket of chips with salsa. Chips were fresh and salsa was good with a hint of heat. OrderedQuesabirria tacos. Very filling and flavorful. Perfect amount of grease for hangover food. Ordered a Pacifico michelada.Michelada served with tajin and Tamarindo rim dip. Super refreshing and perfect combo. If you like quiet low key places to eat,this is not the place for you.
