It's like a mom and pop spot. Everything is very old school like from the early 80s like the decor . It was more of a family... vibe had large groups of families, there were plenty of seniors as guest there . My food was overall ok. I liked the fish howit was fried, but the slab of fish was thin, I'm happy the the server let me substitute the chicken for fish , because I'm apescatarian. The waffle was just your average waffle , the carrot cake, I've had better but it wasn't bad. My waiter howeverwas very attentive , sweet and hard working . I love good customer service . I think other foods there would be far more tastierthan what I ordered but I didn't try them Read more

They are on top of their service. Always asking if we need refills. The works were all nice and friendly. Good country food.

The decor of this place is nice and the customer service is great, but the food definitely needs flavor. The food looks better... than it taste. The batter of the chicken fried steak had no seasonings. The gravy lacked flavor, and the Louisiana skillet tastelike a poor attempt at recreating something they seen from a TV cook. Overall I'll give this place 3.5 stars and thats forcustomer service. I have had a better breakfast at Dennys. We spent 33 dollars (including tip). If you like bland food this spotis for you. So far, not the best experience here. They don't answer the phone, so order online if possible, so I visit instead an sit at the... counter half vacant when server tells me the counter is closed & there's a 15min wait. The service was OK, food was good, ArnoldPalmer was watered down, I think it's the lemonade. Should be more welcoming & accommdating. Read more

Got the chili con carne bowl, slight kick but I didn't find any real meat inside (could be canned) and was slightly lacking in... flavor. Salad was good but the blue cheese dressing was think like frosting. Coffee was great and the muffin was pretty good thewhipped butter and honey made it much better. Service was great ????I've been going here for over 25 years and the building isexactly the same as in 2005. (Not necessarily bad) but I think the only thing that would bring me back is nostalgia andsentiment not the food. Read more

The diner was well lit and not to busy when we arrived (6:30pm). It was a hot day outside (96 degrees) and I was a little humid... still inside. We were greeted and seated quickly. Service was friendly and we ordered our food and were promptly served inroughly 18mins. We were approached a couple times afterwards and asked if we needed anything else, along with getting platescleared and given napkins. No complaints and would definitely go again if in the area. Side note: The chicken tenders andwaffles were awesome, corn puppies are a great appetizer, and the chocolate cake was delicious. Read more

Pretty good place to have breakfast or lunch. I had the half chicken fried and half rack of ribs combo that was $24. I think... my eyes were too big from my stomach because this was a lot of food. Delicious but it was a lot. The chicken was lightly breadedand fried, wasn't too dry. The ribs weren't fall off the bone, but they were still great and not fully covered in BBQ. It wasa nice place to eat at as traveling patrons. Read more
