It was a magical night, incredible atmosphere - very special. The wait for service, our food, etc was very long. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and now bring my children and I still enjoy this beautiful place of downtown Riverside... history. The food, drinks, and service is absolutely amazing and thoughtful. Before or after your meal, I would recommendtalking a walk around the beautiful grounds and adjoining shops. If your planning to spend the night, make reservations ahead oftime. The holidays are approaching and the Mission Inn decorations are beautiful to see during the evening come December. This hotel is absolutely amazing!! The rooms are so unique and you have to really explore this place. All the flowers and lights... make it so beautiful. Lots of restaurants and bars on the property and a nice pool area and spa. Love it Read more

Beds are like sleeping on a cloud: so silky and comfy after a long day driving and sightseeing. The staff were all lovely and... accommodating. Only had breakfast, but it was tasty and the dining room is beautiful. This is why you stay here; it's abeautiful place and intriguing architecturally and they run a professional high end hotel. How can I start this review??? ???? Well to start off what a amazing hotel... this location comes with a amazing story. First... the building was built back 1876 and still standing strongly.. The rooms had an fabulous view... all of the employees from theminute you drive in, then when you walk to the inside. We're very helpful with all our needs. Thank you all!!!! Parents were in town so I brought them here for the day. It’s a beautiful historic property, easily spent 2 hours strolling... the grounds admiring every little detail. It’s never crowded when I’m here which I love. And the bar has comfortableseating, tastefully decorated. Drinks are consistent. The calamari is fried to perfection.
