Wow this place totally deserves its highly favorable ratings! The kebabs are tender, juicy and warm, unlike some kebab places in... the malls that have burned meat and veggies. The portion is large, too. The plates come with hummus, sour cream, a salad, andpitas. For appetizers I def recommend garlic cilantro potatoes. I also appreciate their service. One of the best restaurants in Riverside. The food here is so divine and on top of that the owners are very friendly and polite.... It is so spacious inside unlike the other claustrophobic restaurants. I loved their Shawarma plate, Cilantro potatoes and lentilsoup. Food was amazing! So many restaurants I?ve Tried and this one so far the best, everything from the menu had a different and... perfect taste, we ask for the mint lemonade homemade and was so refreshing, we were full and we ask for 2 baklava?s to go andeat them in our way home they were so fresh and delicious. Great little Riverside gem! Tried because of reviews and have gone back because of the food and service. All is great. Love the... plates with the fresh salad, homemade hummus and warm pitas. The homemade baklava is a perfect treat. Favorite is the walnut anddates. Highly recommend! Read more
You know how Yelp asks ?Do you recommend this business??, with three options to choose from, Yes-No-Maybe? Well let me say this,... if there was an option for Hell YES, that is what I would choose! My wife and I stopped in for lunch around 1:30pm on a Tuesdayafternoon. The place was empty. Mediterranean music playing softly. We were greeted most kindly by the woman working there andencouraged to sit wherever we would like. After quickly going over the menu we decided to try the Chef special which was writtenon a sign in chalk. I got the creamy broccoli chicken kabob plate and my wife had the steak kabob plate?.. OMG?..seriously!? Thefood was outstanding! Literally one of the best meals I have ever eaten in my entire life. No joke. Everything was cooked toperfection. Both of the meats were tender and juicy. The rice was done just right, not mushy or hard. And the hummus, mygoodness, the hummus and pita bread was so good, so good, we ordered some to-go.
