Every five weeks, or so, I'm at The Plaza for some appointments. I always have an hour in between a couple of them, and I use... that time to treat myself to El Torito. It's never too busy at 9AM on a Saturday, so I can relax and have a delicious breakfast.I am working my way through the entire breakfast menu. Because...why not? So far, I have enjoyed everything I've eaten, and Ihave to say that the carne asada steak was one of the very BEST pieces of beef I have ever eaten...and I have eaten a lot ofsteak! Today I had the Huevos Rancheros, side of sausage, and a cup of coffee. Total came out to just over $22 plus tip. Theflavor balance on the entree was exceptional, although I found the breakfast potatoes to be rather bland. The sausage was moistand flavorful, and the coffee was, well, coffee. ? My daughter and I went to dinner on her birthday 9/6/22. We checked in, with Miss Margaret at the front desk. Wonderful host,... just delightful. 20 mins she said ... About 20 mins later we were sitting down looking at the happy hour stuff. We ordered todrinks and 2 appetizer s. Our Super Duper Gal was Michelle. She is a Super Hero. She was the only one working the floor in thebar area. She was amazing. She was honest with us. We told her. We were in no hurry. They were busy on a warm Tuesday evening.We will be going back. Service is horrible. Hostess messed up and seated various people who arrived after me. EXTREMELY SLOW in taking your order and... bringing out your food. No one bothered checking in throughout my dining to see if I needed a refill or anything, but the secondyou are done they suddenly have a quickness to pick up your plates and hand you your bill. It was my very first time here. And after tasting the 3 carnitas street tacos I can honestly say they're really good, And rich... in flavor. However the beans and rice tasted pretty good. But the only downside to my meal was the tacos were too wet and we'refalling apart before I could even get to my mouth resulting in eating it like a salad. 8/10 recommend trying it here. Read more
