Excellent little hole in the wall spot! We came here on a whim on our way back from Joshua Tree to San Diego and were starved.... Menu looked great so we gave it a shot - and man was it good! The dates were crispy and delicious, cocktails were freshly madeand entrees decent portions and super flavorful! Loved the forbidden rice and cauliflower dish. Our waitress was cheerful andknowledgeable and a complete joy. She surprised us with a complimentary dessert and after dinner wine as we were celebrating!Definitely recommend! Read more

My family and I got to stop by for the Sunday brunch. Even with very young children, we felt welcomed. They loved the food, and... we all walked away fully satisfied. We were so thankful for the staff?s generosity and hospitality made it a great firstexperience! Even with a few hiccups in service, we were convinced this spot is well worth visiting again! I highly recommend thestuffed French toast, especially if you can have it with the peaches! Read more

Wonderful experience at Rustik! The food was delicious. Really enjoyed the short rib, scallops and Brussels sprouts. Would?ve... gotten a 5-star rating if the hostess didn?t have her head in the clouds. Took her 15 minutes after our reservation time toseat us with open tables in the restaurant Read more

The food was ok. Very disappointed that I called ahead for reservations and let them know that it was my husband's birthday and... if they did anything special. I was told yes a dessert with a candle. We ordered dessert and still nothing I even got up andmentioned it to the hostess and she said she would let my server know. Next thing you know I had finished my dessert and theserver brought me the bill. I'm truly disappointed. Having just moved to CA we have yet to find a decent place to eat, especially with the prices they are charging. It will be sometime before we return. Oh yes and the kicker is we saw a rodentrunning across the floor. The server caught it and took it outside. Then had the nerve to say it was a bat. Never seen a bat runacross a floor in my life!!!Disgusting!!! Read more

We left The Rustic Fork planning when we could come back, before we were out the door. It was our first time but definitely... will not be our last. Our server, Chris, was politely on point throughout our whole experience and guided us with ideas &conversation. The plating was as delightful as the food was attractive. The flavors only heightened the total experience ofbeing there. I should not forget just standing in the restuarant itself sets the tone before you even sit down. Do yourself afavor and take yourself with or without someone special. It will make your day! Read more

The bacon wrapped figs stuffed with goat cheese almost made me cry (in the best way possible). I have never tested anything... like them ? ever. That?s after eating in 25 States and 10 countries. The figs were recommended by our server and they weremouth watering. My son laughed at me because I couldn?t stop smiling and commenting on them. I can?t even find the words todescribe how delicious they were. It was followed by an amazing surf and turf combo with a lobster tail that tasted like thebutter was infused into it - talk about delicious. I can count on 2 hands the number of times I couldn?t make it to dessert andthis is one of them. I?ll need to start there next time. The service was also excellent and there was a decent crowd to handle.I wound up here by accident on a road trip from Joshua Tree National Park back to home in Huntington Beach this week. Thank godI stopped to experience this place. Wherever you live, find the time to come here and eat. It?s worth the trip. I will mostdefinitely be back. Read more
