Delicious empanadas. I was going only for their breakfast combo but stayed for more. Truly recommend it!!

The empanada selection is great, there are so many options to try. Our favorites were the corn, broccoli, and BBQ pork.

Absolutely some of the best empanadas I've ever had. Flaky crusts, great filling--nice variety. My favorite--spinach empanada.... Very friendly young lady at the counter. Will definitely be back again! Read more

An empanada is sort of a meat filled "biscuit." The biscuit is made up of corn flour or rice flour or combination of both this... is either baked and or fried with the filler on the inside. Other fillers are available. Sweet potato, spinach, beans, etc. Bythe way, made on the spot, they take about 7-8 minutes. Not bad. Delicious! Read more

This place is in Riverside on Burlington avenue. An area I'm very familiar with however, I've not had the pleasure of eating in... this establishment till yesterday. 3/30/2022. I had two empanadas, a bowl of lentil soup, a Pellegrino and a dessert in whichthere is a picture here but I'm not sure of the name. First and foremost, the place is clean. That's the biggest issue for meoverall second, while I'm not an empanada expert, these were very good. Fresh not dry. Flaky and flavorful. The two ladies thatwere there were delightful. I don't know if this is a good deal or not, but the empanadas I believe were $3.20 a piece. The soupwas very good. Rivals my wife's lentil soup. The location is right off of Burlington train stop reasonable amount of parking andoverall a very good place to visit. One caution, there's not very much seating area. See pictures. Definitely a recommendation. Read more

Reading all these reviews might have raised my expectations a little to much. Or maybe the price raised my expectations. But... nevertheless, I tried 2 kinds the pepperoni pizza type and the beef. The pizza was a 2star edible but super greasy. Thegrease oozed onto my beef empanada. So much so I took one bite and took a break to gather myself. The beef was a 3 star maybebetter without the pizza grease. I?ll give it another shot down the road, maybe. Read more

If you have never been to Empanadus, run don't walk! These are by far the freshest and tastiest baked empanadas I've had in a... long time. Brought home a dozen to try and find our "flavorites"... went head over heels for the Beef, Buffalo Chicken andMushroom. The BBQ Pork, Sausage, Spinach and Vegan options are also top notch. Very unique and delicious, Empanadus are a hit. Read more
