I love the choices. Broccoli and vegan. The service is excellent, and I would love to attend to one of the events. I love that... the owner is very supportive towards the community and art. Read more
Price is high $9.96 for 3 tamales. And they were not flavorful and super dry. We got the pork, chicken and pineapple.... Disappointed. Read more
SO GOOD!! I saw this place on the way home from a doctor appointment and suddenly *had* to have tamales. I ordered two pork with... a side of corn, and they were so good I ordered four more to take home! There's also lots of space to eat in comfortably, and abeautiful selection of local art on the walls to enjoy while you eat. Read more
Tamales are fine enough but this place can often run out and doesn't seem to keep consistent hours. Small menu too, so when they... are out off two or three options it gets even smaller. Vegetarian gluten free options though, so that is a win for those in thatmarket.. Read more

Coming from Arizona, I was definitely skeptical about finding good tamales out here in Chicago, but man this place was good! The... pork, chicken, and cheese/jalapeño tamales were all great. Excellent tinga as well! Read more

This is a pleasant place to get a wide variety of tamale flavors. I ordered the tamale special which comes with two tamales, a... side, and a drink. I added an extra tamale to try another flavor. The chicken mole tamale was my favorite! The chicken in chileverde salsa could have been better with more salsa, but you can order extra salsa on the side. I also ordered the sweetpineapple tamale and it had a nice level of sweetness, but I would have liked it more if it had pineapple chunks (which is howmy family makes them so I might be biased haha). The owner is extremely nice and welcoming. I would like to go back and try someof their other flavors. Read more
