Visiting from New Zealand and was recommended by a friend as the place for coffee. Decent latte and scone, flat white not on the... menu. Wasn?t asked if I wanted to stay or take away seems like a paper cup and bags are the default. Wifi didn?t work. Read more

I met someone there for a business appointment this morning. Not my first time there and I was greatly surprised they have made... some changes. The coffee is very good, however I do think it's a little overpriced ($7 for a mid-sized iced mocha late). I waspleased to see they have music playing and now serve food, which seemed to be reasonably priced. The workers are alwaysextremely nice. Read more
Providence and Rhode Island in general is a great city and state for coffee. Check out my coffee list. In a sea of amazing... coffee places, Borealis is the crown jewel and pride of RI. I bring any visitors here after a short ride on the east bay bikepath. By far everything on the menu here is top shelf A+ fantastic. The espresso blend bean is also the best I?ve put they in myBreville barista. Better than the likes of George Howell and Intelligensia. Read more
Fantastic find on my bike ride from Providence on a late fall afternoon. With the bike path literally right behind this cafe... that was once a train depot. Plenty of drink specials that the friendly baristas are eager to make. Light snacks perfect forrefueling for more riding. Relaxed and welcoming inside as well as outdoor seating. Come and enjoy! Excellent customer service, very friendly and great coffee. I was looking for good quality coffee like this for years. My wife... and I drive 20 miles to drink a real coffee cups and enjoy that peaceful place, we find very interesting place, decoration (oldfashioned) old pictures, pictures on the wall with information about what the place was like and the city before. You canactually enjoy the coffee, use board games, enjoy the place and have a good time even with free high-speed wifi, if you'resomeone who likes to enjoy the outdoors, with good weather you can use their tables and chairs from outside. Best lil coffee house! Took a trip from downtown providence to explore Riverside and it was well worth the trip. Had a cold brew... w a shot of mocha - excellent! No wonder they were voted best ice coffee in RI 2020. They had this overnight oats w applecinnamon compote on top thing and it was hands down the best overnight oats I?ve had! Ate outdoors in their cute outdoor patio.Free wifi and filtered water. Great ambiance, nice staff. Aces! Read more
