The rice and peas were great, the macaroni was better than expected but I was highly disappointed with the steamed veggies ? no... flavor or seasoning at all ? I also ordered a lemonade which I could tell was freshly squeezed and delicious . Overall the mealwas an 8 out of 10 . Absolutely loved the brown stew chicken but the veggies lowered the score quite a bit . The food was amazing. I ordered Brown stew chicken along with the oxtail. Both of these large items. The portions were healthy... the rice and peas was very fresh and the cabbage was good as well. Their food is delicious, with lots of spices, and I can't wait to go back. I have friends & family thatdon't care for spicy-hot food, but Flavaz has a lot of mild options, too. They've got a few favorites that they tend to sellout of, so you may want to go early or call ahead to see if they still have what you're looking for. This is my first time eating there and I am absolutely pleased. The food was incredibly flavorful. We had the curry chicken,... jerk chicken, a spicy beef Patty, and spinach patty. I have been going here for 3 years and their Jamaican food has NEVER disappointed me!! Their brown stewed chicken, curry... chicken, oxtails, coco bread and beef patties are amazing. I cook everyday at home. I hate eating out because I am picky and I don?t want to wast my money. However, my husband and I was... on the road all day and we were hungry. We wanted a home cooked meal and we found this spot. Food was soo yummy and authentic.We had the oxtail and curry goat. Very nice portions, I couldn?t even finish my plate.
