My wife and I tried this Steak and Shake looking for a nice restaurant style lunch. The kiosk ordering style quickly removed the... server from the restaurant experience. The kiosk malfunctioned and wouldn't provide a receipt and the person wouldn't get usone either. We asked for it 3 times. We heard names called for people to get their order, even some who ordered after as.Finally, we get our lunch. The fries bland. The onion rings were greasy with a foul taste. Both double burgers tasted dry andalmost burnt. You had a choice of condiments but it's however they choose to put it on. If we'd wanted a fast food experience,we'd have gone to McDonald's. Read more
Shift manager was very gracious. I ordered on the app and thought they got my sandwich wrong but they in fact had it right. Idk if we will ever go back there just isn't the same. You have hardly any interaction with people.. you have to order from a... kiosk you seat yourself which is no problem then they call your name or number then you go get it which is no problem. Just somepeople like interaction with others. They want a tip but your doing the hole service yourself besides cooking it.. and fast foodrestaurants don't get tips so why should they when the service is the same.
