You haven't had fresh fried seafood if you haven't eaten here! For years this place has consistently served up some of the best... fried shrimp and black drum on the bay! The fries, okra, coleslaw are all delicious and the hushpuppies are the best you'll everhave! We ordered a couple of plates and created our own little samplers, which is what you see here. First off the Food was awesome. Everything was cooked perfectly. There was nothing over cooked absolutely great. 4 stars only... because our server was forgetfull from long time to come back and check the drinks to taking cup to refill it and never comingback. It?s only about 10 minutes off the main highway I recommend sittingoutside taking in the lovely breeze and view. Stopped in last night for the shrimp special recommended by a friend. I was pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem in the... little town of Rivera. We had excellent service. Our server came over right away and took our orders. I had a Miicalob Ultra itwas ice cold in a frosty mug and did not disappoint. Our bacon wrapped shrimp and oysters were a real treat, bursting withflavor. The homemade tarter sauce knocked our socks off. (They should bottle the stuff.) We had shrimp special both fried andgrilled, both were cooked to perfection. Fries and onion rings were hot and crunchy. I so enjoyed this entire meal. Way off the "beaten track". Filling up on a Friday night. Definitely the vibe and views of a... hidden gem. Great service. Great food. This should definitely get more business as it is worth the drive to enjoy the food andsetting. Started out with the seafood gumbo and knew I had a great spot. Then went to the grilled drum with onion rings & slawand it was a sure thing: great food can be found in out of the way places!
