So glad we decided to come back after a day of hiking. We had a bit of a wait, but it was worth it! Everything from the... appetizer to dessert was delicious. Steaks were cooked to perfection and the burger rivaled other steakhouses. Our server wasAWESOME and very attentive. The atmosphere was an intimate dining experience. This is a hidden gem in Roan Mountain. The service was excellent! The food is upscale and high quality in a casual and relaxed... environment. The steaks are very good. I recommend the mushroom marsala sauce. We really enjoyed the peanut butter mudslide fordesert. Bring your favorite bottle of wine and enjoy a great meal! Read more
Excellent Steakhouse in a small town! We are camping at Roan Mtn and saw this place while driving by. Stopped in for dinner and... we were pleasantly surprised! The Prime Rib was perfection, my filet was cooked perfectly and the salad was excellent. I will bedreaming about the Cinnamon Butter that came with our rolls tonight! My husband and I visited for the St. Patrick's Day dinner special this evening. Everything was delicious! The Corned Beef was... perfect and so tender we easily cut it with a fork! The cabbage, potatoes and carrots were seasoned just right and theportions were very generous. We ended the meal with Turtle Cheesecake and Coffee...so good! I would definitely recommend adding this as a stop on your next visit to Roan Mtn. We were out looking for a place to eat and... noticed the parking lot was decently full at Americano, so we decided to give a try. I am so glad we did. Our meal was perfect.The sirloin was cooked perfectly to order, the baked potato was excellent, and my 7 year old devoured his burger and fries. What an absolute great restaurant I got a steak and it was by far the best I've had in over 2 years this place is unbelievable... everyone should try it and make sure you get the dessert oh my gosh I don't know what it was but it was chocolate with ice creamit looked like a volcano met the owner Troy super nice guy I will bring all my motorcycle buddies here I would give it 10 starsif it would let me. Drove almost an hour to try this place and boy was it worth it!!! My boyfriend and I both got the ribeye. I got the Hawaiian and... he got the plain ribeye, because they were out of Hawaiians. Both were divine. The steak was cooked perfectly and the bluecheese butter was out of this world. The garlic mashed potatoes were amazing. The salad great too and was a little on thesmaller side, but it was perfect because you weren?t too full for your entree! For dessert I got the key lime pie and myboyfriend got the cookie with ice cream on top. It was the best key lime pie I had ever had and his cookie was excellent aswell.
