This café almost seems out of place in a small town like Roanoke! The decor is rustic and artistic, the atmosphere friendly,... and the service reasonably quick. The food they serve is excellent and reasonably priced. This is not your typical rural Americacafé! The food is home made style, but their attention to detail and quality ingredients make their food stand a whole head andshoulders above average. I don?t think there?s a single sandwich, soup, or salad listed that doesn?t sound delicious, andeverything I saw brought out made me wish I had ordered that as well! We stopped back in today and I wanted to change my review because they're cappuccino machine was working, I had the most amazing... breakfast sandwich and we enjoyed fabulous coffee drinks. Much improved over my last experience! I stopped in for the firsttime for a cafe mocha and a donut. They don't serve Donuts. So I got a cookie. After I had paid and waited for 4 minutes for mycoffee she announced their cappuccino machine was broken. Don't expect too much here. Read more
