Mugs Bakery is a small, local bakery with delicious baked goods. I really like the lemon bars. I usually order at least one... every time we come in. Also the chocolate dipped brownies are great. I recommend one if you have a chocolate craving !! Myhusband likes the coffee here too. Friendly service and great food and drinks makes Mugs a place we enjoy visiting. Read more

Trying to... organise a birthday surprise for my partner in Roanoke from Australia was challenging and stressful but Lanie swooped in andtook so much off of my plate! She was beyond helpful and so easy to talk to. And so talented too! I?m so happy her fave artpiece is one that my partner and I hold close to our hearts and she turned it into the most amazing cake (and birthdaysurprise)! We hired Mug?s Café & Bakery 3 years ago to design our wedding cake and to make a variety of desserts for the cake table and we... could not be more pleased. After 2 years of rescheduling our reception due to Covid, we were able to have the reception on June4th. Lanie worked with us to design a personalized, beautiful and delicious 3 tier cake that told the story of how we met. Wealso ordered 14 dozen different mini desserts, which included gluten free options and our guests loved them. All items weredelivered to our venue and set up by Lanie which made the process stress-free when there were so many things to be taken careof. As many times as my family has made the trip to Oak Street for lunch and dinner I had not stopped inside Mugs. So that?s why I... decided to yesterday! We finished eating at Los Molcajetes and wanted something sweet to take home for later. I walked insidethis cute shop and definitely found something to hit the spot. Chocolate dipped brownies, yes please! They had minis as wellwhich I grabbed for my kiddo to enjoy. I also snagged a caramel Apple tart to share. Thank you for a pleasant experience! My daughter and I needed a birthday cake on Saturday, the owner saw us approach the entrance and opened the doors to tell us... they were closed for a special event, but asked us what we were needing.
