I think we should have left as soon as we were seated. We asked for a table & was given 1/2 table 1/2 booth ????Then they... brought us water with no ice that had been sitting around. When we went in there was only 2 other people inside so it was notcrowded at all. They brought my friends salad out 1st & it had next to NO dressing ???? Then they brought us our food. Sheordered the broccoli with garlic sauce which we have both had multiple times in the past. I got the chicken fried rice & a sideof asparagus in garlic sauce. My friend was on ????and had a hard time eating her food + lots of water to try & cool down hermouth. Getting refills of water was a joke as no one walked by us at all or came to check on us. My asparagus was interesting asthe whole plate was the woody HARD bottom of the stem pieces. ???? And just when you think it couldn't get any worse .... Itdoes. We both had no idea what my chicken really was ???? The chicken was sliced thin & chewing it didn't work so I spit it out.We both analyzed the rest of the so called chicken & it appeared rubbery or kinda plastic as we could NOT pull it apart or cutit with a fork even going with the grain of the "meat". We both ordered the Pad Thai, what we got was good. However there was not any heat to the dish and there were no peanuts.... Service was good and friendly. Quality of food was good, just not sure what we ate as it did not fit any of the dishdescriptions on the take out menu we picked up on the way out. We will give them a second chance. Read more
Best Asian food in the Greater Lynchburg/Roanoke area on US 460. Food was excellent, our service was good, bathrooms were clean... which is always a good sign. We ordered spring rolls, a shrimp and noodles entre, and an entre of General Tso's chicken andfried rice. Everything was excellent. Highly recommend. We will return. The menu offers selections of Chinese, Japanese, Thai,Korean, and many Asian cuisines. They offer a broad selection of sushi but we are not sushi people.Tables were super clean.Plenty of accessible parking adjacent to the front door. My wife brought part of her lunch portion home- the lunch servings were"plenty". Our server was a beautiful Asian young woman who spoke perfect English, well trained, and was attentive. Always loved the food here, have never had a bad server and the facilities are clean and the amount of time to get food is... excellent! The prices have been going up, but the quantity has stayed the same with great portions. Read more
They must be hiding behind the 500 good reviews. I want a refund! The food we got was 1 star. Small portions of flavorless food... and really expensive. $28 Total. The kicker: No freakin' fortune cookie?! So tired of being ripped off :( The Crab Wontons$7.25. They were nothing more than crème cheese No Crab. Got about 6. $1.20 each. What an insult. Tiny container of Plain riceunless you order another $7 plus dollar dish to get fried rice. The chicken was not crispy like the description and you can tellit was premade frozen from a box. After moving to Virginia almost 2 years ago, we have had such a terrible experience finding great food. This place is THE BEST!!... The food is so delicious!!! I ordered the Dim Sum platter. Roast pork buns are phenomenal!! I also ordered General Tso's stylechicken and Orange style chicken Entrees with fried rice. They were perfect. Crispy. Just as they should be. We will definitelybe back here! As for the prices I think they were expensive, a little too expensive. Two meals plus appetizer came to $55. Butthe food was great. Read more
