Went there at 11 waited 5 minutes at the front door just for someone to hop over the counter and put a sign on the door saying... opening late due to short staff but. I was a little skeptical about going to Cici's because the last time we went later on weekend night, there were no bowls or... pasta, but we went Friday at about 4:00 pm and everything was nice. May have been short of help during these Covid times thatone weekend. I love getting to eat all the different pizzas and the pasta and soup. Wish I knew how the sweet cheese dessertwas made, because I could eat those til I was sick. Not too expensive either for buffet to eat all you can eat. Cici?s rules!! I grew up eating at this place. I took a group of 7 kids here recently and everyone loved it! The pizza was... really good, especially the BBQ chicken pizza. The pizza tasted just like I remember, the only thing is they have improved theirlogo. The kiddos asked when I can bring them back! Service has always been spectacular. On the visit I brought the children, acouple employees took the time to chat with us and have a conversation with me. They asked me if I was their coach and gavesuggestions on which pizza to try. The employees got a big laugh out of me playing with the children! I was racing them to thetreat bar, we were making race car noises and doing child-like stuff. One of the employees told me ?You?re a kid too, you?rejust bigger than they are.? and they told me it makes them feel happy to see me playing with them. Made me feel really happy tohear them say that! This Roanoke location is amazing and I hope they continue doing such a good job. I went to get a glass of unsweetened tea and all I got was water! Had to wait for the macaroni and cheese pizza as that is the... only pizza I will eat. The cinnamon.rolls were hard on bottom making it hard to eat. The only thing I found good was the brownieand the half of piece of pizza that I finally got to eat. Never did get a drink! I can't believe their prices though! I couldhave gotten a lot better meal someplace else for the $27 I spent there! Read more
Visited this location around lunchtime on a Tuesday. The bar was a bit scarce, but this is normal during slow lunch hours. There... were 3 people there when I arrived, but only 2 when I left. I found it odd that the napkins, straws, utensils, cheese & redpepper shakers were not near the drink fountain. The pizza seemed to be thinner than what I usually expect at a Cicis. I foundit dissapointing that this location appears to have opped out of the $4.99 early week pizza buffet special. I was also unableto redeem my free birthday buffet. Fortunately the manager on duty made an exception. I would have hated to drive out all thisway from Danville only to find out I couldn't use my birthday buffet. This is just something to keep in mind, this location mayhave opted out of the MyCicis loyalty program. Read more
Over double the price and half the goods or services. Quality is just awful. What servant they have is completely non English.... It's really sad from what it use to be. There are issues between staff as well. I had diarrhea quickly. Though I liked themanager. Seems his hands are tied someway. I'm a Quality Control Specialist just to say it. Need Bar Rescue ???? Every time depends on your luck either you get good fresh stuff at the salad bar or Some are old ,for the pizza buffet it... depends on who?s in service at that time they you don?t have a standard constant items so it?s about your luck? But stuff arefriendly and trying to do their best but they can?t ,they are only two or three doing everything Like running between cashierand cooking ,so when the restaurant is a bit crowded everything is very late? Most of the staff is ok but one white guy that was there making the pizza was crazy rude. Like more than just having a bad day... rude. The food was ok.. but it's never been great. The kids like it.. so we will probably go back. Read more
