This Firehouse location has always been my favorite take out. It was always consistent and delicious. Unfortunately it seems... they got a whole new staff and ever since then my Italian has always been mediocre and about half the meat it used to have.Before you had to open wide to bite their sandwich and it was so juicy it would run all over your hands. I kept going backhoping the sandwich would go back to how it was because theres nothing like them when made right. I never wanted to complainbecause this manager has a very negative and loud presence to her and I worried she would make me uncomfortable. When I used toeat in the restaurant she was always yelling in Spanish at her staff and would confront guests in a loud voice and embarrassedsomeone for wanting a refund for a cookie they didn?t have. I started getting take out instead. Last night i finally decided tocomplain about the lack of meat to a staff member on the phone. She was offering to remake it when the manager started yellingat her in the background about what was wrong. She spoke Spanish to her manager from that point on while I was on the phone withher and the manager was yelling in the background how she made it and weighed it and it?s fine! The manger then took over thephone yelling at me that she made it and weighed it and nothing was wrong. I asked her why she was yelling at me and told her Idisagreed and even have a picture if she doesn?t believe me. Her response was to then yell at me again that she made it andweighed it. I decided not to answer back to this. She then yelled well what do you want! I said at this point a refund because Iwon?t be coming back. She yelled fine and hung up on me. I hope this manager can turn her attitude and voice down to her staffand future clients. It?s become a hostile environment and makes the guests feel unwanted and like we?re inconveniencing them byordering food :( Read more
I stopped in for lunch today, and with nobody else in line I was able to order right away. According to my receipt, I placed my... order at 1:26, well after the typical lunch rush. 20 minutes later, one of the cooks looked at me puzzled and asked me what Iordered. I told him, then the girl who took my order asked him what the holdup was. He told her that he gave my sub to someoneelse and would have to make another one. I finally got my order about 30 minutes after ordering. Unless you have a lot of timeto kill, you should probably get your lunch somewhere else. Read more
Worse experience ever. I was at work and ordered online,was given a time and they were obviously behind as I waited 30 minutes.... There was no apology for waiting,no communication as hey we are sorry and we are working on your order. There was also no senseof urgency knowing everyone there is obviously in scrubs,suits and etc and on a lunch break. Read more
Normally I have nothing bad to say about this restaurant. It?s usually clean and the staff are friendly. But today, I came in... and when it was time for the man behind me to order, you could tell he had a hard time hearing and maybe a disability. After heleft, a customer made fun of him and the staff started laughing and agreeing with the customer. That was one of the rudestthings I have ever come across. Read more
While the food is pretty good, the service at this location is highly lacking. We visited 2x in a week and both times the... employees were unpleasant. The 1st we tried to chalk it up to the fact there were only 2 people working and it was a Sunday. The2nd time there were 5 employees that we could see and not one was friendly or pleasant. There were no other customers yet theymessed up our 3 sandwich order. Gas ain't cheap but we drove back anyway and there wasn't a single apology. Lesson learned onour part, we will no longer return to this location and definitely can't recommend it. Read more
Omg the little African American lady was so polite i think she was the cook as well but she helped give the best deals they had... instead of making me pay alot and I really did appreciate that in this day of time food was very good,fresh,and hot!!! Read more
