Excellent food. Best asparagus I have had in a long time. Wait time to be seated was ridiculously slow. Not because we had... several people or groups ahead of us, but just because??? Alot of money pumped into that place to make if look nice, invest in aheater near the door!!! Read more

Great local spot for an upscale burger or pizza that won't bust your budget. I am a huge fan of their burgers, always perfectly... cooked and more ways to top it than you can imagine while my wife enjoys their pizzas with a gluten-free crust. The kid menu isgood a well and a much better bang for your buck then any fast food joint (Bacon Mac & Cheese or oversized hot dog! ) Tapselection varies from domestic standards into local brews and ciders. I've been hearing wonderful things about this restaurant for years but never had the opportunity to visit. I attended an event... for a local musician on Sunday 9/4 & was quite impressed with the atmosphere. They offer indoor, as well as outdoor seating &tables. The staff was very friendly & the customers were outgoing. I highly recommend it & look forward to my next experience. Read more

We popped by for dinner. Pizza smelled great but we both got salads. Very fresh. We sat outside, it was lovely. A steady Friday... evening crowd. Menu was nice. I would definitely come again. Read more

After moving away from Roanoke 13 years ago, we finally got to return. One of our "want to re-visit" stops was Fork in the... Alley. The food was as delicious as we remembered...if not more so. The service was some of the best we have had anywhere. (Ibelieve our server's name was Jessica). She was so genuine in her conversations with us and she anticipated our drink refillneeds. The outdoor dining was also great as we are still being cautious about Covid, and when the weather is nice, this is justa perfect place to be anyway (nice lights/ambiance). We would definitely recommend Fork in the Alley to others. Read more

Just terrible! No domestic beer on tap, 3 choices of soda. The outdoor chairs are bent to the point that sitting in them is... torture. Server was slow and rude. When we did get our food it was burt. My daughters chicken tenders didn't photo well, but Icould see they were cooked in smokey oil. I said nothing but she confirmed it with on bite. "Daddy these are nasty"! My pattymelt was charred, then the less charred side was plated downwards confirming they knew and didn't care. The fries weresurprisingly good. We ate a few. Waitress showed no concern when I told her were not eating this. No offer to remake it. Pics ofplates are as we left them. 28 bucks for 2 beers, a coke, and a half order of fries consumed. Read more
