If it wasn?t for my parents wanting pecan waffles, I would have definitely went across the street to Cracker Barrel. The ceiling... was leaking terribly at the register, one working bathroom, and there was no decaf coffee at 9am. We had to ask to have tablescleaned off to seat the 7 of us. As we all know Waffle House is one of the best in food ( breakfast ????). My preference. The staff works hard here. The one... waitress works her butt off providing great service as well as cleaning all tables, washing dishes and trying her best to pleaseeveryone in this busy place. The cook working hard, manager as well under the worst conditions such as a large leak in theceiling dripping water, No A/C at all and the floors etc can us attention as well, as cleaning! The worst Waffle ever served to this Charleston, South Carolinian. Oddly juvenil, incredibly slow, disjointed service. Other... guest, who arrived at the same time, ate and before we were served. My1st eggs were served with a broken yolk, the second sohard that they were barely edible... A Waffle so hard that 6 ounces of syrup could soften it. My past experience with Waffle House was great; that was in South Carolina. We decided to try this particular one in North... Carolina and we were not impressed at all. The waitress in North Carolina was not very pleasant and she forgot to bring my teathat I ordered. The restaurant was slot really clean. Overall poor atmosphere. Read more
What's better than an old fashioned waffle from Waffle House while traveling? I can't say anything bad. Hubs got a plain waffle,... I got a pecan waffle. Coffee was good. Our server was perfection. Our bill before tip was $13.00. Five stars. Read more
I visited my local Waffle House in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina this morning. It was another successful visit, the atmosphere... was absolutely lovely, and being greeted by the chefs and waitresses always makes ?ya? feel welcome. I bought breakfast formyself and ?someone? else, I bought them the same thing I got, save for I added grits to the side of my plate. Was very excited to stop by Waffle House on my way home. They have cool mobile code so you can take pic with your phone to see... the menu.Food was great, I had eggs over esay with fresh made home fries,aslo had plain waffle and ham, just the rightportion. Service was great as well. Read more
The tabled were not clean. The floors were filthy as well as the restroom. Someone urinated all over the the toilet stool and I... had to clean before I was able to use the facility. The staff was polite but, they were busy eating and talking amongstthemselves. I was not satisfied ????. The silverware was faded too. Wow! Read more
