Not real impressed. Had the veal milanese and it was topped with arugula which did not have the green apple as advertised. The... veal was burnt and very dry. I originally wanted the veal parm and I really don’t like gnocchi so I asked to sub that withanything else. The waiter said sure for a $10 up charge. Really!! A little bit too upity for this old man. We hosted my sisters baby shower here and to say it was perfect would be an understatement. The staff is incredibly attentive,... catered to our every need - even when we had to make last minute seating adjustment. Domenic is so talent, everyone went out oftheir way to tell us how delicious the food was - we had a full brunch spread! We so grateful for their help and support, theymade our event so very special. We cannot say enough good things about Ravello's and their crew. Read more

We walked in and noone greeted us or advise someone will be with us shortly. Took a while for the host to even acknowledge us.... We were sat outside for our reservation. Our table was super wobbly and wouldn't stay in place. Thr noticed later and came outwith a piece of wood and made my husband put underneath the one leg instead of her putting there.. We order an appetizer and itjust did not look appetizing there was no presentation to anything we order the food im all honestly was plated horribly myhusband order the special crusted pork chop and chorizo mac and cheese.. it look like a block of pork with water velveta mac andcheese chorizo and i had the short rib pasta and that had no flavor and againg plated very poorly. The place was packed withalot of people but tHat Shouldn't be an excuse on how poorly everything was. Read more

Excellent BYOB! This restaurant is a great find! The food is delicious! Presentation was perfect! We had the Zucchini flowers... as an appetizer; and the New York strip steak and eggplant entrees. The steak was seared on the outside and tender on theinside. Perfect! The red sauce for the eggplant was delicious and tasted homemade. It was a delightful experience. We highlyrecommend this restaurant. Read more

We have eaten here before and loved the food, so we had them cater a birthday party for around 40 people. No surprise, all of... the food was outstanding as well - we had the seasoned chicken, sausage and peppers, penne vodka, broccoli rabe, and thebruschetta platter (which was HUGE!). Will be ordering from here for all events in the future! Read more

Since it is a product of Toscano it shouldn't come as a surprise that the food is amazing. We went on the first night that the... governor of New Jersey felt it was safe to do inside dining again. The tables were sufficiently spaced all the staff was wearinggloves and masks and we're very very friendly. We will definitely be back again. I highly recommend this for a very good mealout. Our second time at Ravello by Toscano, the first one took place eight months ago. Again, very positive experience. Inventive... menu by Executive Chef Dominic C., combining modern trends, exploration of and venturing into other world cuisines, new and boldflavors with the great traditions of cucina italiana. Carefully selected fresh ingredients by local producers, attractiveplating, and very very generous portions. The menu features daily specials, including different steaks, expertly cooked. Theprices are quite forgiving. Most pastas are priced in the low $20s (cacio e pepe is $18). We would particularly recommend thefollowing dishes: short rib egg roll (braised beef short rib, Vermont cheddar, roasted mushroom bruschetta, truffle creamspinach), which even though being offered as an appetizer is capable of filling the hungriest stomach, grilled peaches andcapicola salad and 14 oz steak, very reminiscent of Bistecca alla Fiorentina, served with deep fried squash florets and roastedpotatoes. Good and friendly yet professional service, spacious dining area, ample parking and convenient location with a directaccess to both South and North lanes of route 130. Highly recommended. Read more
