I have hashimoto's and have to be on a gluten free diet. It is so hard to find places that I can eat out and feel comfortable.... This restaurant went above and beyond. They had a whole seperate menu for me to order off of, and I got a sheet of paper with mymeal. The food was delicious and the waitress was very friendly! I will definitely be back. Read more
Went here for lunch with friends upon arriving from California. Wow! I really wanted one of everything on the menu. Settled for... several apps and drinks. I ordered the Bloody Mary and the waitress asked if I wanted a beer back. Well, yes I do! She suggesteda local beer New Glarus. I also got the waffle cut fries nachos with pulled pork. Everything was delicious. Also ordered cheesecurds, pretzels, walleye fritters and wings. Authentic Wisconsin cheese curds! ? The restaurant was clean and the restroom wasvery nice. Read more
Solid home style food. Wife had the Whiskey Salmon salad and I had the Open Faced Pot Roast sandwich. Pot roast had large,... very tender chunks in a flavorful beef gravy all of which was served on Texas toast and REAL smashed potatoes. Salmon had anice glaze and salad was nicely presented. Plenty of seating options, tables, counter, bar, booths. Food menu is similar to Shuggys in Hammond. Plenty of sandwiches,... pizzas, wraps, pastas, chicken, and seafood. Salad bar is good. They should verify that the bread is always soft n warm, bc whenit is, it?s reeely good. Wifi was fast n free. Really nice drink menu. Hard to find this many Mixer options anywhere near here.One caveat: the large tap beer is shown as 23 oz on the menu but it sure does not look like 23 oz. That would be two 12oz cans,and I doubt that would go into that ?23 oz? glass. Food was ready super fast. Read more
Food was great and so were the drinks, when you can get them. Bartender was busy planning a trip to, I think, Vegas with her... friends. My drink sat empty for over 15 minutes. Bar was not busy except for aforementioned friends. Even tried to get herattention. Plus side, food was real good and the Primo Margarita was great! Assuming this was the exception to rule, not therule. Definitely a place I would give another chance! Read more
