So we were in town for work for one night, just passing through. We stop at the golf course thinking you can usually get a good... meal there, closed for a seniors tournament (boomers always making life harder for everyone). So we go back into town and tryfor the Chinese food restaurant, also closed. Faced with the choice of Chicken Chef or this we go for Family Pizza (don't getme wrong I'm usually on board with chicken chef but it can be hit or miss). Looking at the menu I was a little apprehensive, fried stuff for the most part, and the menu is huge, lots to choose from. I go for the garden veggie with the thought that atleast I will get some vegetables. I was surprised! The ranch sauce was delicious, a nice change from a traditional marinara,creamy and not overly "ranchy," by which I mean there are ranch flavors but it's not like Kraft salad dressing type flavor. Thecrust was very nice, I usually go for a thin crust but this was bready without being tough. All in a I'm pretty happy with thechoice we made. Read more
