I tried this place for the first time a few weeks back (ordered through uber eats) and oh my goodness... The pizza was SO GOOD!!... I got the bianca pizza and added mushrooms and green olives. Seriously to die for- The cheese is amazing, the texture andquality of the pizza is great, and its just plain delicious. I also ordered a side of garlic sauce, and you know how oftentimes places have a creamy garlic or sort of artificial taste sometimes? This garlic sauce has pieces of actual garlic in it,mixed with some sort of butter concoction. VERY GARLICKY! But real, and delicious as well. Keep in mind though you will smelllike garlic from it. Finally, I got the ceasar salad as well. This was tasty, not my absolute favorite (I love outbacksteakhouse's since it's super garlicky and has a texture I enjoy), but still good. I was so incredibly disappointed with my experience here. I thought it would be nice to come to this pizza restaurant because I... have not had it before, and it had a giant sign on the front window saying it was voted Rochester's favorite pizza. The menuwas different from the traditional pizza restaurant. It offered things that I like but are not common at other pizzarestaurants. Because of that, I figured why not order things that I never order to make this a complete and new experience. Thatresulted in an order of the Breaded Fried Ravioli and the Philly Cheesesteak Calzone. The ravioli was stuffed with all thingsthat I like including ricotta, Monterey Jack, jalapeño, red pepper, and onion. It came with a side of tomato basil sauce fordipping. The ravioli was really tough around the edges. It seemed like it was over fried. If the ravioli was cooked better andit had more sauce, I would have enjoyed it more. The calzone was a disaster. It looked amazing when the waitress brought itout. But as soon as I cut into it, it was a nightmare. A pool of all the juices came flowing out onto the tray. This was reallydisturbing to me because of the amount of juices that came out. I honestly could have filled up a 12 ounce cup up to the top. Being from New York, I walked in here not expecting much... But this is my new pizza spot for when I'm in the area and craving... food from back home. Thin crust and wonderful taste. Staff was sweet and attentive. If you haven't tried the pizza/food here...Give it a try! Read more
This small pizza diner offers a lot. From great pasta and pizza to their friendly staff. Georgio?s Pizza is located in downtown... Rochester and can be seen from the road on Main with their painted sculpture of a pizza man. The inside is small and quaint. Itis a ?feel free to seat yourself? seating. The waitstaff are quick to refill drinks and get your order. The food, mainly pizza,is quick to get out on the table and even faster to eat.
