I cannot say enough positive praise for Grant's. First of all, their pizzas are all delicious, the crust is incredible. And a... cookie with each pizza?!? Amazing. Most importantly, as an allergy mom, I am blown away by the care and kindness shown eachtime we order and note my son's allergies. Their website lists all possible allergans onsite. And Each time I pick up, when theyhear my name, I'm assured right away that they noted the allergy and they go through all the steps the took to ensure my son'smeal is safe. I am thrilled that we can enjoy a lovely meal as a family and not worry. I know it is extra effort on their partbut they never make us feel like a burden and always serve with a smile! Grant's Pizza House is an absolute gem. There's a lot to love about Grant's, but to me what sticks out are the fundamentals. The... crust is perfectly crispy on the outside, while light and fluffy on the inside. Just the right distribution and choice oftoppings. Sauce is simple and high-quality. It's all the little things that add up to it being rock-solid and delicious. Theyjust absolutely nail traditional American hand-tossed pizza. I've lived all over the world and just recently moved back toRochester after 16 years away. I can say with pride that the world's best pizza joint is right here in our hometown! Best pizza I've had in a long time. I used to like Alibi for years but in the past 5 they have gone downhill. This place: you... can taste the quality and the skill of a perfected recipe. This pizza did not hit the spot. It left me disappointed. I had high expectations because the restaurant's website description... for each pizza is so eloquently worded. It convinced me this pizza had to be good. But after receiving the pizza, I learned itwas more puffery than anything else. My delivery order: - Veggie Bliss (signature pizza) - Peach and Pecan (signature pizza) -Parmesan Romano Blend (Artisan Breadsticks) - Everything Bagel (Artisan Breadsticks) - The Delightful (salad) - Chocolate ChipCookie (one comes free with every pizza) Both pizzas were dry and the dough was tough like how a day old hot and ready wouldbe. The crust was so tough that even if I had pizza sauce to dip it in, it still would not have been enjoyable. The Peach andPecan pizza was most disappointing to me between the two pizzas. The restaurant's description starts by stating "foodies agreethat Peach & Pecan is a pizza worth exploring". Well, I strongly disagree. The flavor was strongly overpowered by the pecans tothe point that the rest of the pizza's flavor was bland and dry. Perhaps if the pecans were crushed it would give a betterbalance and blend with the other flavors/toppings. Shockingly the breadsticks were not dry like the pizzas were. Although theEverything Bagel was good, I preferred the Parmesan Romano Blend merely because of the cheesy blend. The salad was enjoyabletoo. I modified mine to add chicken to it, and I would do it again. It was a flavorful blend for a salad that I had notexperienced before. It is hard for me to pass up a cookie. But this one I would pass up. It was too crunchy of a chocolate chipcookie. I prefer a softer cookie (in general). Those who like crunchy cookies, you will more than likely like the one offeredhere. I went to Grant's for the first time last Friday. I went to Grant's for the second time last Sunday. That should give you a clue... how good it is. Definitely a hidden gem. Prices are slightly above average compared to chains, but flavor and quality areabsolutely amazing. The crust is by far one of the most flavorful I've ever had. Chewy too. The toppings were to notch andgenerous. I can't recommend this place enough. I was so excited the first time, I forgot to remove the cheese saver when I tookthe picture. Read more
