We had a party of 15 people and I made a reservation. When everyone arrived, we were seated right at our reservation time. I was... very happy about that. The waitress had an upbeat personality and was organized and not flustered by our large group. My tokyorose martini was outstanding and my chicken and shrimp hibachi grill meal was absolutely delicious! Our chef was funny and mygroup was laughing the entire time. At the end, everyone kept saying what a nice outing this was. A 20% gratuity wasautomatically added to the bill, presumably due to our group size. This restaurant is going down hill and not accommodating. My cousin wanted hibachi & knowing this is the only place around, I... tried to place a curbside order for her & wanted to pay over the phone which I have done several times from here. The guy on thephone was illiterate and asked me to repeat my order wayyyyy too many times. After repeating my order several times he thendecides to tell me they don't allow phone payment anymore which makes no sense as I have done it several times & claims itstarted 3 months ago which couldn't be true. Spent $120 on dinner a few weeks back and the experience was mediocre at best. It truly depends on the chef you get. The tables... around us were getting great shows with every trick you can think of. Ours basically cooked our food. No jokes or gags, no onionvolcanos, barely any pizzazz. Plus the food was bland, although I can understand going light on seasoning in order to please acrowd. The waitress never came back to ask about additional drinks. We will likely go elsewhere, as we've had better experiencesat different restaurants. Read more
Food great....chef good...service poor....on top of mandatory 20% tip for my group of 6 is ridiculous. Gratuity should never... be forced but new policy here does just that for as few as 6. Too bad if you have a big family. They will also consider 2groups of 4 to be 8 and apply their mandatory 20%. We will just go elsewhere and advise others to do the same. It's not aboutthe $$$ it's about the principle. How about if you just pay your servers more? I know your prices went up because we've beeneating here for years and didn't mind absorbing that in light of inflation. Read more
This certainly is not the best hibachi place I have ever had, but it was good. I only gave it a 3/5 stars because for the amount... that you pay you do not get as much food as expected. Also, our chef did not really season the food that well. Lastly, theindoor atmosphere is not that nice. Overall, not too bad if you are just casually looking for a place to eat but I would notconsider this place for a special occasion. Read more
Our favorite Hibachi in the metro detroit area. We love the noodles and the veggies are always super fresh! Couldn?t say enough... good things about their service and food quality. The Hibachi House sushi roll that comes on fire is amazing too. Read more
