Great service, great food, and convenient location to downtown Rochester and the Paint Creek Trail. The Lawnmower Lunch is... probably the cheapest lunch you can get unless you go to a lower-quality fast food joint. We grabbed a bite after doing a longroad march on the Paint Creek Trail. Great service!! Menu was fun and offered more than average fare. My guests ordered the salmon on grits with veggies and a... grilled sausage that looked amazing. The salad was bountiful and a cut above. Our waitress was so charming and smooth with herease in service. I will return again. Read more

Loved the chicken tenders. The batter is delicious. Sat outside at the back patio area. They allow dogs there. Even brought out... a bowl of water for my pup. Friendly service. Good food. If you walk to the back part of the patio there is a little creek and aneat fish sculpture to check out. Read more
Came here for the first time with my family for a birthday. There was a 25 minute wait but it was peak dinner time on a Saturday... night downtown Rochester. We all ordered some drinks and the fish and chips. Some had perch, some had walleye. We also got theside of Taki Mac N Cheese. The food was excellent and the drinks were even better. I had a couple of the Michigan Cherry Coolersand I would highly recommend if you like cherry flavored beverages. The service was prompt and our server was very accommodatingand friendly. This is a perfect place to go if you?re looking for that outside dining vibe. I would recommend this place forsmall or large groups. Definitely coming back! Read more

The Paint Creek Tavern was a decent stop for us. We popped in around 8pm due to one of their signs hanging in the front window... of their restaurant saying that they had a happy hour mon-friday from 4-6 and 8-10 (see photo). However we were disappointedwhen the bartender told us that they didn't have a happy hour from 8-10. This didn't stop us from ordering drinks and a steakand mushroom appetizer. The service was good and the appetizer was very tasty. They had a decent selection of beers. I wouldhave given this place 4 stars but took one star off for the incorrect happy hour sign. Please change your sign so as not tofalsely advertise your happy hour times. Other than that, a decent place to get drinks and appetizers. Read more
