First of all, the food was amazing. Our server?Lauren, I think?was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The salmon... and the shrimp scampi were both amazing. But once we got our food, we never saw our server again. No one asked how things tastedor if we needed anything else. When we finished, someone else took our plates, and we waited 15 minutes at our empty tablebefore I asked someone to find our server for the check. There?s a lot of glowing things I could say about my experience at Cameo. But what comes to mind first and foremost is one word,... ?identity?. I sampled 3 cocktails, tried the Korean popcorn chicken appetizer, ate the salmon, tried a bite of the beef shortrib, and finished off with the bread pudding. Every single one had a unique, well-thought out, and expertly executed identity.Whoever came up with the menu is brilliant. The salmon wasn?t necessarily my favorite flavor, but I could tell that theingredients were deliberately chosen to create a cohesive identity that I can?t help but respect. Fresh, satisfying and varied menu that's sure to please everyone in your party. Lots of delicious vegetarian, vegan, guten free,... and dairy free options - just be sure to specify that you want it prepared a specific way. Their drink menu also includes amocktail section. Everything we tried was delicious. We went on a Saturday night and they were pretty busy but there was never await line and we got in right away without a reservation. We had 5 course chief tasting and they were amazing. We enjoy it so much that I forgot to take the pictures of the other dishes.... Kudos to the chief! So so amazing food. The service was top notch as well. Our server was Jeff. He was very attentive andknowledgeable about the menu. Chef came out to serve each plate and told us about each dish. Creative prepared to order cuisine in a cool, funky open room along with an open kitchen. Staff was friendly as well as... attentive and they are accommodating regarding food sensitivities.The short rib with spicy rice was excellent with Asian stylespices. We love Cameo! Their children's menu is wonderful with large portions and ice cream to boot! I am vegetarian and the chef even... swapped out some tofu for chicken in my dish even though it wasn't advertised. They take such good care of you. Definitely oneof our favorites in town. Read more
