First time at the Tap House and probably my last. Burger I ordered looked good but, once I bit into it, it was like biting... into a hockey puck! Dry, over done, not good! Only plus, the fries were hot and got like a half a bag of them. Read more
Yumm, food was delicious. I eat AIP currently and they were able to accommodate me with my requests. My husband got a flight and... then a pint with some wings. Bathrooms were clean and nicely designed. The sink was against the wall, thin and modern. They hadtwo bathrooms one men and one women's, but it's just one stall each where no one else is going at the same time as you are. Verycomfortable place to be. Walking distance from Mayo and hotels in the area. They have seating upstairs and outside. They have a ton of beers on tap, a... great menu. The burger and tots I ordered were really good. The service was excellent too. Read more
Downtown bar and eatery with a ton of character and such great personal service. Highly recommend the downtown location, the... others just have more of a bland corporate feel. The menu is classic American bar food, our only disappointment was that there'sonly a single dessert (mini donuts). However, the extensive seasonal cocktail menu more than satisfied our sweet tooth. TheCampfire White Russian was the biggest hit, but we enjoyed trying several different drinks. Read more
Casey is the best. This is my second time coming to Tap House and I had a great experience both times. The food was great, this... time I had the macho nachos. And the bartender Casey was perfect. I had a Tito's and lemonade, she basically gave me a cup ofTito's with a splash of lemonade. Which is perfect for me being the heavy drinker of that I am. Wife had a burger and loved it,which is saying a lot because she's a picky eater. Great environment competitive pricing. It's looking like tap house is goingto become my go-to place for a night out. Went out on a dinner date with my daughter. We had the L A street steak tacos and I paired it with a Loon Juice Sangria white... cider my daughter had a blackberry lemonade. The ambience and service were great! During our visit there were bird soundsoutdoors and the quieted down as the evening went. We enjoyed our night out! Read more
This is one of my favorite places in downtown Rochester. They've got an extra bar upstairs, and a lot of beer options.
