I've been enjoying Moe's Italian Sandwiches since I was in elementary school, more than 40 years ago at their initial location... 50 yards down the street from the Portsmouth Post Office, closer than it's current location in Portsmouth. I would walk therefrom home and back just in time to watch the monster movies on tv. The basic Moe sandwich has remained basically the same sincethe beginning and that is not a bad thing. I enjoy them all the same especially with extra meat and their spicy oil. The menuhas expanded in recent times and I look forward to trying some of these new offerings. I have been to Moe?s on and off for 30 years, it use to be my Thursday place to go. I ordered my standard Super, oil, mayo and... hots today, Thursday at 12:00 and lots of sandwiches being picked up when I got there. I get stale sub bread, and the sandwich had an off taste I couldn?t put my finger on...off taste on the pickles and way too much lettuce. What a disappointment, I hopethey are not all going to the gutter. UPDATE? IT APPEARS COVID GOT TO THE BREAD SUPPLIER FOR THE AREA AND THE ISSUE SEEMS TO BERESOLVED. Read more
