I have eaten many times at Pepper's Landing in Old Town, ME. This was the first time dining at their Rochester, NH location. I... found the food and service to be consistently excellent. If I could make a simple suggestion, I would recommend grilling thechicken when putting it in a salad. It adds more flavor. The chicken my wife had didn't have any grill marks. Lexy was ourserver Friday night in Rochester. She was simply outstanding!!! It seemed to me that she was born to be in the service industry.Communicating came so naturally for her. My husband and I stopped by for lunch at the end of July and it was really good. We sat at an outside table, wasn't busy at all.... Our waitress was great, came by and checked on us enough times, got our drinks pretty quick, food didn't take too long, and itwas all delicious. My husband has raved about how good the fried clams were (pictured) - perfectly cooked in clean oil, and areally wonderful light batter. They were so good, those alone are worth the drive. Really big portion also! We also got theCajun Shrimp Pimento Dip (pictured) that was amazing, and I had a cup of clam chowder (pictured) that was really really good. Great seafood spot with a nice open layout, bar area, and outdoor seating. The lobster rolls in particular are excellent.
