Our group had a large to-go order including ribs, the rodeo burger, plain mac & cheese, and chicken fingers. The woman on the... phone was so nice, very warm energy - she apologized for the noise in the background and it was all just very sweet. Meals comewith sides, so we opted for side salads, garlic bread, and mashed potatoes. Everything, and I mean everything...wasoutstanding. So fresh, exactly what we wanted, with portions more than enough to share. The mac & cheese was the very best we'vehad in Rochester (and beyond) - same with the chicken fingers, which were ordered with honey mustard. Salad was great, fresh &crisp. Mashed are red bliss, everything is homemade. Just perfect. We all agreed we'd need to dine in at some point, as somenights they also feature live music. We did note that the menu was only visible as a Google image, and could not find itpictured on their website. Spread the good word - Porter's Pub is THE choice hidden gem in Rochester! Hadn't been there for a while, figured we'd give it another try......shouldn't have. Service was pretty slow except for the... locals. Paid $20 for the roast beef special, looked more like very well done, tough pot roast. My wife got the grilled shrimpand said it was good. They did take the roast beef off the bill. Don't really think we'll be going back anytime soon. Read more
