We ordered takeout from here, bad choice unfortunately. Hopefully they can redeem themselves after this review. We walked in,... and the place felt a little overwhelming, with the sizing of the place. We walked up to the cashier, with no greeting, that'sokay. We ordered a cheeseburger plate, chicken fingers and onion rings. The food came out in reasonable time, about 15minutes. We live about 5 minutes from Bill grays and the food was cold when we arrived home. The onion rings were soft anddefinitely were not done. Well, no big deal, we get to the tenders and there were cold aswell, and little under done. My platewas alright, someone seemed to be having a bad day in the kitchen or just overwhelmed, by all the orders. I'd give this place a2/10, ill give it another shot, but my exceptions are very low, hopefully everyone who goes has a better experience than I do! Read more
So we stop at Bill Gray's whenever we are in Rochester. Here's what we love: The fried fish is really good. Big, thick white... fish in a crispy batter, cooked just right so it's juicy and tender. The fried pickles are delicious too but you've got to likespice cuz they've got a little kick to them. The burgers do taste like homemade as opposed to the usual fast food burger, andthe fries and tots are crispy and hot and the perfect accompaniment. Finally, what's better than ending your meal with anAbbott's custard? Uh, nothing! :) The only criticism I have is the macaroni salad. YUCK. Super bland and soulless. Tasteslike they ran out to Walmart and bought a tub of the prepared stuff. Note to self: Avoid the Mac salad! Read more
Very disappointed in my food I ordered I didn?t expect for bill grays to give a faithful customer food this way the World... Greatest cheeseburger is suppose to be the greatest but definitely wasn?t this time both my burgers buns was burnt really hardand crunchy I tryed peeling most it of but still had a burnt taste I?m not sure why my buns was burnt I didn?t ask to bake it, iwas not satisfied with my order I had to use bread I had here at home to replace the burnt buns , I didn?t return my food causeI stay about 10 minutes away this was a really horrible experience and bad service Read more
Very sloppy, not tasty, poor service. Wet bun, couldn't pick up the burger to eat it. Not properly grilled onions. Unevenly... cooked burger. Staff could not answer basic question of what size is the patty. Not giving this place another chance. I can seewhy it was completely empty on a Saturday night. Read more
The food was great just like most of the other Bill Gray's in town that was super cool very nice and friendly. The best part of... this location however is the original Crazy Taxi arcade machine with all the original soundtracks in place. Including TheOffspring and Bad Religion song. Very fun Read more

My first impression was, really, restaurants are built this way too? It?s something uniquely designed, such a vast place and... many tables to sit. There are 2 person to 10 person occupancy tables. They have a lot of parking spaces to accomodate, and theyhave wifi too. Coming to food, I have ordered chicken fingers plate. I felt chicken fingers may have been better. Pricing isregular. We were there for euchre and the WHOLE staff of young people WALKED OUT! They got upset with the manager and left her all... alone! We were floored! I guess the young people just don't need to work or value having a job. It is a different world. Themanager was very nice to do her best but what could she do?
