Great place! They cater to a lot of different dietary needs; you'll be able to find gluten free and vegetarian/vegan options, as... well as meat and fish. Lots of options to choose from! Sweet, savory, simple, complex, crumpets whichever way you want! Theemployees were really friendly and even though it was a bit busy the wait time wasn't long. Crumpets is so cute I can?t wait to come back and tell my friends about it. The owners are nice to talk to, the crumpets weren?t... too crumbly and were flavorful and filling. My sister kept raving about this place, so I finally went and it did not disappoint! If you're looking for a light breakfast... bite to eat with some good french press coffee, this is the spot. Delightful little hole in the wall! The cute plants and eclectic style make it very charming. The staff is very sweet, and the... business is women owned I believe. Not a ton of seating. There are 3 tables that can sit 4 max, so come with a small group. Youcan order crumpets to go and make your own at home. Their homemade jams are delicious. I hope at somepoint they team up withHappy Earth Tea and serve their tea in store. However the tea they have at the moment is pretty good. Read more

The Crumpet Lady is BY FAR my favorite place to eat breakfast in the city. The atmosphere is somehow both relaxed AND fancy... with their gorgeous decor and fancy tea sets yet close quarters and friendly regulars. On nice summer days theres even cuteoutdoor seating! Before you get to relax in the storybook picture-perfect seating though, you have to pick from theirPHENOMENAL menu. Many if not all of their ingredients are locally sourced and everything is always so fresh. They have plenty ofvegan options and you can always see the owner making the crumpets herself!
