Overpriced and small. I asked for onions on my sub and you couldnt see any at all but they said they put them on and i could... smell the meat sauce but they didnt have it on my sub even though they charged extra for it. So after i had them put more onionsand add some "More" meat sauce it did taste pretty good for a steak sub but honestly nothing special especially after having toask them to make it right after the first time. We ordered a cheese and pepperoni sheet pizza - the pizza was delicious - hot - room temp and cold from fridge !! The price was... very reasonable too! I was referred by neighbors and I will be back again for sure!!! Read more

Mediocre pizza at best. You haven't had pizza if you think gallos is good. Owner doesn't care and it shows. I've walked in that... place 5 times in my life and every time the older gentleman behind the counter was rude and has a bad attitude. Read more
Okay, so we have ordered with Gallo?s on multiple occasions, and ordered different things off the menu. Many reviewers are dead... right about different menu items that they have gotten from here being less than expected. We have had subs, fried mushrooms,garlic and cheese bread, and of course, pizza. I must say, that many of the items that we have gotten have been lackluster, butNOT the PIZZA!! We absolutely love the pizza and have never had a bad one from Gallo?s. This place is ABOUT THE PIZZA!! Everypizza we have ordered from Gallo?s has been absolutely phenomenal! We?ve tried other pizza places in Rochester, but when wefound Gallo?s, we stopped looking for pizza anywhere else. If you want to get a pizza, Gallo?s is the place. If you are lookingfor subs, and sides, maybe not so much. This place has the absolute best pizza in Rochester! Read more

Absolutely flavorless and a waste of money. I googled subs and decided on Gallos because it had an order for pickup option. I... selected meatball, capicola, and tuna subs. My apparently ridiculous expectation was that the cold subs would come with toppingssuch as lettuce, tomato, maybe a squirt of mustard. NOPE! Totally PLAIN. Totally BLAND. I called the restaurant and explainedthat my subs were bare and perhaps some toppings were forgotten. The man on the phone feigned ignorance and blamed it on a SliceApp. I didn't use an app, I used the button on the Google Gallos page which apparently is Slice. That explains the extra $.95 Iwas charged on my PICK UP order! Anyway the Gallos employee refused to offer a refund or any type of apology. I found the numberfor this so-called Slice app and explained the situation and the fact that the website clearly states that the tuna comes withvegetables. I will receive a refund for tuna he says. Unfortunately because the website doesn't expressly say the capicolacomes with anything he refused to refund that cost. In the end I am left angry and with 2 disgusting dry sandwiches.
