I echo some of the other reviews here saying nothing is wrong with these cookies they?re delicious! However their customer... service is abysmal. I had an event scheduled and ordered 50 cookies for a delivery about 3 weeks in advance of the date of myevent. The DAY OF my event at 12:30pm (scheduled drop off time was for 6:15pm), I get an automated email saying my order wasrefunded back to my card - nothing else and no detail on who to get in touch with about the unanticipated refund and cancelationof my order. After calling with no response at the store, I finally got in touch with a Regional Manager who said the store washaving an emergency and had been closed for two days. I am more than understanding that stuff happens, but if it had been closedfor two days, why was I just being notified barely 6 hours before my event?! It left me with no other option and no cookies formy event. So, happy to say I will never rely on them again and will stick with good ole faithful Wegmans Bakery for cookieorders. Read more

My wife and I were excited to stop and get some cookies after driving home from a weekend getaway. We stepped into the store and... the person working was in the back. We waited a few minutes and when they came out we greeted them and they were miserable. Wethen asked a question about what cookies were available and they barely mumbled a response. We decided it was not worth it andsaid thank you but we are all set. I realize it is hard to get good help now a days but you do want people who can representyour brand in a positive way otherwise you will lose business. I was there today to introduce a refugee family that arrived recently to the US to the college town area and get ice cream. I... went inside the store with one of the women with me. The cashier at insomnia cookies was terribly rude. She started looking atthe woman with me (who wears Hijab) as something gross. I started ordering but the cashier never looked at me. She was stilllooking at the woman as if she's something disgusting. I got so confused and thought she didn't hear me ordering so I stopped,but to my surprise she asked me "what else" WHILE SILL LOOKING AT THE WOMAN THAT WAY. I will never be there again and will do mybest to share how racist this place can be. Insomnia cookies in college town, you need to give your cashiers a serious trainingon racism and discrimination. Don't get me wrong I LOVE insomnia cookies but the owner of this location makes this company look like a disgrace with the... employees they are choosing to hire. Drove 20 minutes out of my way for a 20 dollar box of cookies only to be told more thanhalf menu is sold out. It's 830pm on a Monday night, 3 more hours to go and you don't have half the inventory available?? Thereis no way it was busy enough on a Monday night to run out, I just want to know what its like to get paid to do absolutelynothing. The employees are lazy and rude. They couldn't even put our cookies in a box, they shoved 3 into 2 small bags andbasically sent us on our way. OMG! Insomnia Cookies, has the best cookies in Rochester.....IMO! ???????????????????? They deliver until 2 AM, their cookies... are delicious but they also have ice cream, cookie ice cream sandwiches, vegan and gluten free cookies, brownies, and adifferent variety of the giant cookie-cakes, etc. Please try them because u won't be disappointed and the delivery drivers arevery sweet and fast! I literally received my order(pics down below ????)at 8:01 PM, and I placed my order at 7:41 PM! Everythingwas fresh and warm and I'm never disappointed! The cookies on the left WAS a 6 pack(Oops! I couldn't control myself! ????)andthey're 3 times larger than a Pillsbury cookie, but on the right are the deluxe cookies.....they're 3 times larger than theothers! First off, the cookies are good. Soft and sweet. Interesting selection. The problem is the extravagant cost. We ordered $25... worth of cookies for 2 people and finished them in one sitting. They are simply not a good value for what you get and I couldeasily find cookies (as good) at a local bakery for half price. Read more
