This was an excellent restaurant. Family run, warm friendly staff including the owners involved in serving to greeting guests. I... had a very pleasant conversation with the owners and that means a lot. About the food, I had the last rack of lamb and it wasoutstanding. Cooked to perfection the sides were excellent. Best calamari in the world. Excellent service. A hidden tucked away luxury that has an old-time, rustic feel that never gets... old. We had a lovely time sipping fine red wine and sitting in a quiet, comfortable atmosphere! Grateful that my parentsrecommended this place, since we never even saw it all the times we drove past it!! The food was amazing, the customer service from both... owners (Joanna and her husband Chuck) and our Server, Christina was something to duplicate (very fine people). The food was a bit slow but in that "we are a relaxed Italian place" kind of way. The server was great and did apologize... unprompted. Food was great we had the berramundi, bone marrow, and gnocchi and it all tasted great. Not giving it a 5 since thefood didn't blow me away but it was very solid and I'd give a 4.5 if I could. Wonderful experience here. The server Christina was insightful, friendly, and attentive. The food was delicious ???? You can... tell it?s made with care because you wait a bit for your food to come, but it?s worth the wait. The owners were kind and askedus how everything was.
