One of the most, if not the most excellent lunch spots in rochester. Everytime I leave I can't help but think about when I can... get back next. Atmosphere and ambiance: Delightful. The entire design from top to bottom is just gorgeous with floor to ceilingwindows overlooking the courtyard and the big neon sign, it's purely magical. It's so often rare that with great decor comesquality food and this place checks all my boxes in the taste department. The sandwhichs are to die for, they have pickled beetsfor health nuts like me and the finest tea assortment! Do not get me started on the locally baked desserts! Whoever created thisplace is the exact genius we need in Rochester. It sets such a high bar it's hard to want lunch anywhere else. This is a gem in the Eastman house. You don't have to go to the museum to eat here. I was here during the peak of lunch. The... sandwiches were very good. They have vegan and vegetarian option plus gluten free and kids options. If you're in the area Irecommend trying them. Read more

This is a hidden GEM. I?m sad I hadn?t discovered it sooner. I?ve been here a couple of times now, and while I?ve tried only a... handful of lunch items, my go to is the Toasted Brie sandwich (add Turkey). SO GOOD. I can?t rave about it enough. The ambienceis also always nice as the dining area is in a beautiful naturally sunlit area. I always grab a sweet treat for dessert before Igo! Loved this sandwich restaurant when it was on South Ave.... Now with original owner in the Eastman Museum in a beautiful... renovated building next to the Dryden Theater. Great sandwich and you have to get the carrots! So glad Open Face is back! Read more
