This review is for not Hibachi menu. Purely for Sushi quality. I ordered sushi dinner for two. It came with miso soup and salad.... Up to this point is standard. Then the sushi came and the display was good. One thing that concerned me was how the chef placedsliced oranges and lemon between the pieces of sushi. The taste of orange and lemon was so strong that I barely tasted sushi. When the chef does something like that I start to doubt the quality and freshness of the fish they use. Overall, sushi qualityis average. Rice to fish ratio is unbalanced (too much rice), but it will fill you up. I felt like I was eating anall-you-can-eat level of sushi. For that, the price seems a bit too high. I hope they make more effort to make better tastingsushi here. Read more

Pricey and not good valued food. The noodles were spaghetti noodles. The “steak” was definitely chuck cut, it had lots of... fat. I’m not impressed at all with the quality of the food. Read more

Food and serving sizes were amazing. Price was normal for this type of dining. The only bad review I have is that our chef was... very bland and definitely have had better shows! Read more

Food and service were really good. Wonderful bartender and hostess. Red Sun in back seems closed and both Japanese and Chinese... style food are served upfront at Sakura. Lovely atmosphere. We really liked being able to order both sushi and Chinese styledishes. Don't be surprised to be sent to bar even if right on time for reservation. Worked for us overall. Read more

I ordered seafood fried rice. It was over $50. Which I understand. But my problem is the rice was SUPER wet. It was as if they... added too much water to the rice. I call it replace it because this rice was just no it. They offer to replace it with two boxesof plain fried rice. I asked for the amount of what I paid for. My step father worked there and I wanted to support the business but the lady seem as if she didn't understand anything I was asking for. She blamed the condensation for the box but it's notthat. The entire rice was mushy like baby food. This is disgusting. Read more

We waited about 5 minutes, while the receptionist took a phone order. Dining area (non-hibachi) was small but nicely decorated.... The waitress who seated us, with menus, apologized for the wait and asked about our day. Our waiter came about 10 minutes laterand apologized for the delay. I ordered the sushi dinner w/eel and tobiko, no shrimp and no seeds. When he was bringing the eelout, he noticed the sesame seeds and took it back. GREAT CATCH! He apologized and told me my sushi dinner would be out shortly.I drank hot tea. My friend ordered the teriyaki (?) chicken. She was very pleased with the portions and texture of the meat andvegetables. Price including tip about $75-80. Two corrections, 1) refill the hot tea or switch to tea pots and 2) hire an extrawaiter for the dining room. Overall, we were pleased with the ambiance, portions, presentation, and price. We would eat hereagain. Read more
