So good!\nI was happy to see some gluten free vegan options! I am sensitive to a lot of foods and was able to eat the wings and... fries with no issues.\nThey were delicious . It’s my first time being able to eat vegan wings since most are made with gluten.My boyfriend had the garbage plate and he said it was amazing. BEST VEGAN PIZZA EVER! Having a member of the household who is lactose intolerant has made pizza Fridays nonexistent in our... house until we found Squatcho’s! The LGB is SO good. My kids devour the cheese pizza and peanut butter milkshake. We aremaking Squatcho’s our new Friday tradition! The chef, James, is extremely talented and his business partner, Heather, is thekind of person every restaurant would want greeting diners as they walk in the door. My wife is vegan, I still love meat. I stopped and picked up lunch on the way home today.\nThe buffalo chicken sub they got was... spectacular. The Garbage plate I had not only had all the right textures but had the rich tangy mac salad, the meat sauce acidicspike, and the warm buttery cheese flavor that made the vegan burgers taste meaty.\n\nI also had less of that \"WHAT have Idone?\" Zoidberg feeling after I eat a normal garbage plate. Squatcho\'s is humble in a way most vegan places are not. It\'s your typical mom and pop pizza place but with a vegan twist -... exactly what I\'ve wanted in a vegan place but have never quite found.\n\nOther things I like about it so far:\n-The ownersbreathed life into a long vacant spot.\n-One of the few places downtown that\'s open past the lunch crowd.\n-Owners are friendlyand passionate about downtown, Rochester, and the Rochester vegan community. We had the garbage plate, hawaiian pizza and buffalo pizza. All were excellent! Being new to Rochester, I don\'t know what a... garbage plate should taste like, but this one is delicious. The buffalo sauce had good flavor, it was balanced not just allheat, which I really liked. Read more
Being a vegan I had never had a garbage plate before so was excited to try squatcho\'s 1/2 plate. It was awesome. My husband had... the full plate and almost couldn\'t finish it. Very inexpensive for what we got. This restaurant is successfully creating vegananalogs of favorite foods like subs and pizzas. We will definitely be back! Read more
